Divisions & Competition Format
Norwegian Throwdown features three competition divisions: RX, Intermediate, and Scaled.
The event format is designed to ensure that all athletes compete at the level that suits them best.

💪 Open Division → Intermediate & Scaled
All non-RX athletes register in the Open Division
Athletes compete on: Saturday and Sunday
Saturday:
Three varied workouts
Accessible programming with no highly advanced movements
Sunday:
Based on Saturday results, athletes are placed into:
Intermediate & Scaled
This Open format has been used many times before with great success, ensuring fair and competitive divisions.

Three-Day Challenge for the RX Division
Athletes in the RX Division face a three-day test of strength and endurance with a series of advanced WODs. It's time to shine on the competition floor and showcase the results of your hard training!
OPEN Division SATURDAY – For All LEVELS
Saturday, is the day when the OPEN Division takes the stage. Whether you've just started your CrossFit journey or are an experienced competitive athlete, this division is perfect for you and your teammate. Anyone can joind this division
OPEN Division SUNDAY - Scaled and Intermediate
The results from the first day in the OPEN Division determine if participants continue as Scaled or Intermediate. This unique system ensures that everyone gets to compete at a level that matches their level of fitness.
A Minimum of Five WODs for all teams
Whether competing in Scaled, Intermediate, or RX, you can expect to complete at least five WODs. This provides a comprehensive test of your fitness and capacity.
Preparation and Strategy
To allow all athletes to prepare adequately, all WODs will be released 7 days before the competition. This gives you the chance to plan your strategy and fine-tune the techniques that will be tested.
