Donor Games West Regional
About This Competition
The Donor Games West Regional at The Mission HQ is a team-based hybrid fitness competition that combines running, strength, and functional endurance in a long-format partner event. Teams of two will take on a progressive workout designed to test stamina, strategy, and teamwork through repeated run intervals paired with bodyweight and dumbbell movements. All teams will complete the same workout structure, with divisions separated by gender categories and RX or Scaled loading standards.
Athletes must complete all runs together, and all workout repetitions are performed one partner at a time, emphasizing communication, pacing, and shared effort. While the event delivers a competitive and physically demanding experience, it is designed to be achievable with preparation and training.
Beyond the competition floor, the Donor Games serve a greater purpose — raising awareness for living organ donation and honoring the strength and resilience of transplant recipients, living donors, and those still waiting for a second chance at life. By bringing the fitness community together for a shared challenge, this regional event blends performance with purpose, using movement as a platform to educate, inspire, and make an impact.
