Click below for specifics for each division.

  • All Cleans can be Power or Squat – athlete choice by rep throughout.

GENERAL NOTES/STANDARDS

  • A1/A2 Designation is entirely the team's choice and does not need to correspond to roles or assignments from any other workout.

  • Sandbag Carry: Carry any way you like (shoulder, bear hug, etc.). Both athlete and sandbag must be fully past the line before the next segment starts.
  • SPLIT Row: Divide the row however you want—evenly, unevenly, or one athlete can do it all.
  • 1st Simultaneous Carry: Both athletes carry their sandbags at the same time. One athlete can get ahead, but they cannot initiate the run until both sandbags are fully across the line.
  • Together Run: Athletes will not be linked together, but if one athlete gets ahead, they cannot pick up their sandbag until their teammate catches up.
  • 2nd Simultaneous Carry: Both athletes carry their sandbags at the same time. One athlete can get ahead, but final time will not be recorded until both athletes and both sandbags are completely across the line.

Pending the final facility layout and any unforeseen logistics, all events are subject to change at the sole discretion of the event director. If any changes are made between the workout being published and the start of the event, athletes will be notified by email.

Event 4 - Workout Announcement

GENERAL NOTES FOR ALL DIVISIONS

  • Event 4 is a 2-part workout: Event 4A and 4B are each scored separately.
  • Each part is worth half the points of a regular event on the leaderboard.
  • The workout runs on a 20:00 running clock. Part B begins exactly at 10:00, regardless of when Part A is completed.
  • Time Caps: Part A – 9 minutes, Part B – 10 minutes. (Recreational Part B – 8 minutes)
  • Scores for incomplete work will be based on total reps completed at the TimeCap.
  • A1/A2 assignments apply only for Event 4 and do not carry over from other events.
  • SYNCHRO Devil’s Press: Synchro required at the top of the rep (full extension overhead). Burpee portion does not need to be synchronized.
  • SPLIT movements (Wallballs, Step Overs, Medball Thrusters) may be shared in any rep scheme between teammates.
  • Simultaneous Work: Jump rope and BikeErg efforts happen at the same time—athletes complete them concurrently.
  • Handstand Walk: 12.5ft unbroken segments. Competitive: A1 and A2 each complete 75ft solo. Masters Competitive: 75ft is shared, split as desired.
  • All divisions use a 20" box for step-overs.
  • Skipping Ropes: Athletes must bring their own ropes—none will be provided.

Note: This workout section (B) exists for scoring purposes only as part of a 2-part event. Full workout details, flow, and movement standards are outlined under Part A.

GENERAL NOTES FOR ALL DIVISIONS

  • A1/A2 Designation: The assignment of A1 and A2 is entirely the team's choice. Athletes do not have to follow any specific order from other events or workouts.
  • Lunge Platform Setup: There is one designated platform for lunges. When athletes switch who is performing lunges, the first athlete must safely move their barbell off the platform before the second athlete can move their barbell onto the platform. All lunges are performed as step-back (reverse) lunges.
  • Burpee Box Jump Overs (BBJO): A 20" box will be used for both athletes in all divisions. Athletes may choose to step down or step up, but both feet must touch the box on the way over.
  • Transition and Platform Run: Teams must run to their platform after the final movement is completed. The workout is not finished until both athletes are standing on their platform.
  • TimeCap and Scoring: Teams that reach the 8-minute time cap without completing the workout will still receive a score based on the total number of reps completed at the time cap.
  • Tiebreaker (Recreational Only): The tiebreaker time will be recorded as the time at which the Echo Bike calories are completed.
