About This Competition

Introducing the Duo Throwdown at the TFX Championship—a one day, three event competition designed for Intermediate, Rookie, and Community athletes. 

If you missed out on qualifying, or are hoping to jump in for a 1 day experience, this is your chance to show up and throw down. Inspired by the TFX Throwdowns, put your fitness to the test in this newly constructed contest that will determine who walks away as Duo Throwdown Champ. Talk about a good time!

Teams of 2 (MM or FF)

Open to Intermediate, Rookie and Community athletes
Three events on January 31st at the Throwdown Stage
Registration Cost: $198
Come compete inside the TFX Festival

Early bird registration opens on Wednesday, November 12th at 12pm!

This is an awesome opportunity to team up with your friends, spend a Saturday afternoon throwing down at The Fittest Experience Championship! All teams will complete three events at the TFX Duo Throwdown.

How to Participate
1. Rally your team of either 2 men or 2 women
2. Register your team on Wednesday, November 13th 
3. Get ready to have some FUN!

Clean & Jerk 185/125
Snatch 135/95
Chest to Bar Pull Ups, Toes to Bar, Handstand Push Ups, & Double Unders

Rookie:
Clean & Jerk 135/95
Snatch 95/65
Pull Ups, Toes to Bar, Wall Walks, & Double Unders

Community:

Clean & Jerk: 95/65

Snatch: 75/55

Jumping pull-ups, Hand Release Push-Ups, Hanging Knee Raises, Single Unders

20 Fat Rope Single Unders

Athlete will start on the start pad. At the call of 3-2-1 Go, Athlete 1 will head to the rower and start rowing for calories. Athlete 2 will head to the barbell and complete 3 Thrusters and then 20 Fat Rope Single Unders. Once complete, the athletes will switch. Athlete 2 will head to the rower and Athlete 1 will complete 6 Thrusters and 20 Fat Rope Single Unders. Each round the athletes will switch and the Thrusters will increase by 3 reps each round. Time will be called at the 8 minute mark. Score for Event #4 is total calories rowed in the 8 minutes and score of Event #5 is total reps completed in the thrusters and single unders.

Rookie Division:
