About This Competition
The Gauntlet — Hybrid Fitness Race
A fast, functional test combining cardio machines, bodyweight work, and odd-object tasks. Expect 45–75 minutes on a professionally designed course.
How you’ll race:
Divisions: Male Solo, Female Solo, Male Pairs, Female Pairs, Mixed Pairs
Pairs format: Some tasks must be completed by both athletes; others can be split however you like.
Age policy: Age is taken on the event day.
Pairs placement: Based on the average age of both athletes on the event day (rounded down to the nearest whole year).
Race Days
Saturday 5th - Male Solo, Female Pairs.
Sunday 6th - Female Solo, Male Pairs, Mixed Pairs
Age Categories (Singles & Pairs)
Under 30 (16–29)
30–39
40–49
50+
Awards
Podiums for 1st/2nd/3rd in each division and age category. (Low-entry categories may be merged.)
Refunds & Transfers
No refunds or transfers. All entries are final.
Name Changes
Name changes are allowed until 72 hours before race day; an admin fee may apply.
Pairs: either athlete may be replaced via a name change (must meet division/age rules; average age recalculated).
ID & Waiver
Photo ID and a signed waiver required at check-in.
