SEND’ER DOWN HUEY 2026


SEND’ER DOWN HUEY 2026. Soak up the atmosphere, while enjoying the beautiful coastal area of Ulladulla. Looking for some sunshine this year.
Same sex pairs and mixed pairs will compete across four workouts, including weightlifting, gymnastics, and conditioning. Open, and RX divisions are available, Masters 45+ also avaiable. Masters 45+ will all compete against each other in their own category with RX scores being placed higher above scaled scores.  Three workouts will be released prior to the event, with one workout to be released on the day.


Movement requirements include:
Rowing
Dumbbell Movements
Clean and Jerk varying in weight
Kettle Bell Movements
Body Weight Movements

Prizes for podium place getters, Name Boards and Shirts for all teams. Professional photography by Anthony Rodger's Photo.
Shirt Order and Team board will be submitted prior to December 20th 2025, To ensure shirt sizing and team board, registration and size must be completed prior to this date.

One Person working, one person resting

In remaining time complete Max Reps of:

Wall Climbs (Reps are worth 3)

Both partners working at the same time. One on each movement, can swap at anytime. 

Wall Climb Standard:

RX: 270mm from Wall

OPEN: 1 Metre From Wall

Break Wall Run Synchro

15 Synchro Rope Facing Burpee overs

Break Wall Run

30 Rope Facing Burpee overs

 

Both althetes will complete the first run together followed by 15 synchronised burpee over rope, sychro being both athletes on the same side and chest on ground at the same time.

Once 15 syncronised burpees over rope are completed, both athletes complete the run again, except this time both athletes do not need to finish the run at the same time. If one athletes returns faster than their partner they can begin the 30 burpees over rope. 

The 30 repititions can be broken up how ever the team choices with only 1 athlete working at a time. 

Workout 2:

3 intervals of 2 mins work and 1 min rest.

Both partners complete 30 Synchronised Lunges

RX: Overhead one athlete using a single 22.5/15kg DB, the other athlete uses a 24/16kg DB

OPEN: Front rack lunge same weights as RX

In remaining time one athlete working at a time complete as many of Interval 1: RX: Pull Ups OPEN: Pull Ups

Interval 2: RX: C2B OPEN: Pull Ups

Interval 3: RX: Bar Muscle Ups OPEN: C2B

WOD 3:

In the first 2 Minutes complete as many deadlifts as a team, one person working at a time. 

Weights: 80/55kg same for all categories

Straight into 8 mins to establish

Athlete 1: completes 4rm Front Squat

Bar is taken from the floor, a squat clean can count as the first rep

 

Athlete 2: Completes a 2rm Clean, any form is permitted, squat, power or muscle. Must be one continuous movement, stopping in the hang on the way up is not permitted. 

Athletes can have as many attempts as they want and weights can go up or down. The lift must be completed by the 10 minute time cap. 

 

Score will be the total number of deadlifts combined with the heaviest lift from both athletes.
