Hardbat Athletics In-House Competition (2026)
About This Competition
Welcome to Hardbat Athletics' In-House Competition Year #2!
This competition is for active Hardbat Athletics members (both class and personal training members). You MAY invite one teammate from another gym, or you can both be from Hardbat.
We will have two divisions, and we highly recommend pairing up with someone of comparable skill level (not necessarily strength!)
Sign up for the RX division if you tend to do workouts in the Brown/Purple categories in class (higher skill gymnastics, heavier weights, larger calorie/meter intervals on machines).
Sign up for the Scaled division if you tend to do workouts in the Blue/Orange/Yellow categories in class.
There is a $80 sign-up fee and you will receive a t-shirt for participation!
Friends, family, and non-participating members are all allowed to spectate! The proceeds of this event are going to a multiple sclerosis fundraiser. Spectating does not cost anything, but any donations will gladly be accepted.
If you've never done a competition before, be prepared for multiple workouts and a lot of sweating! Bring a lot of snacks, fluids, electrolytes, etc. A heat schedule will be released after all teams are in; the last day to sign up is January 6th before 11pm.
Three workouts will be completed as a pair and scored. There will be one floater workout to be completed on your own time; you must sign up for your floater time the day of!. We will find the top 3 winners of each division/gender based on the scores of the three workouts.
Parking will be in the usual parking lot, however overflow parking will be on the sides of the building.

30 sec: Max Hang Power Cleans
PARTNER 2:
30 sec: Max Shoulder to Overhead
Rest 1 minute, then switch.
Rx weights: 155lbs for men, 105lbs for women
Scaled weights: 115lbs for men, 75lbs for women
Score is total reps.

20/15 Cal Ski
Rx: Male wallball weight: 20lbs, female WB weight: 14lbs

200ft Sandbag Carry (100ft/person)

Rx: Males have 150lb SB and 50lb DB, Females have 100lb SB and 35lb DB
Scaled: Males have 100lb SB and 35lb DB, Females have 70lb SB and 20lb DB
