OUR 90-MINUTE FITNESS CHALLENGE REBUILT FOR 2026

*Athlete T-Shirt Deadline: 17 September 2026*

READ THE STATION DETAILS IN FULL

All teams are teams of four - male, female or mixed. Mixed teams can be any combination of gender - 2:2 or 1:3.

Battle Cancer has two divisions so you can compete at your level.

Challenge Division Our standard division.

Intense, inclusive, and built so teams of all experience levels can take part. Teams can modify movements where needed. Perfect for those looking to push themselves, work as a team, and have fun.

Compete Division A level up.

Heavier weights, stricter standards, and no movement modifications. Best suited to teams with experience in functional fitness who want to test performance under pressure.

Please ensure that you are choosing the division that suits you and your teammates best. We might not be able to transfer you between divisions as we approach October 17th due to the lane-structure of the competition and the limited number of tickets available for each heat.

Scoring at Battle Cancer

All teams at Battle Cancer will self-score during the challenge, with oversight from our floor crew and judges to ensure accuracy and fairness.

Fundraising

Battle Cancer is a fundraising event, not a charity itself.

Your ticket purchase covers the cost of your participation and all event-related expenses, but it does not include a donation to charity.

We ask each team to aim to raise a minimum of £200 for a cancer charity of their choice.

BATTLE CANCER CHALLENGE 2026

Movement Standards & Station Descriptions & Videos

Overview

The Battle Cancer Challenge 2026 is a 90-minute team fitness challenge completed in three zones:

  1. Endurance Zone (Bike Erg, Row Erg, Ski Erg)

  2. Burn Zone (Box Jump Over, Hand Release Push Ups, Sit Ups)

  3. Power Zone (Sandbag Squats, Dumbbell Devil’s Press, Deadlifts)

Each zone contains three stations. At every station, teams complete 5 minutes of maximum work followed by 4 minutes of rest, then move to the next station.

Your goal is to accumulate as many reps or meters as possible at each station.

All stations use the same work format:

Weights, synchro standards, and the required number of working athletes are detailed per station.
