About This Competition

Welcome to the Twilight Throwdown 2026!

 

Get ready for Fitness Alley’s Twilight Throwdown — an outdoor pairs CrossFit competition under the summer sun that rolls straight into the twilight.

 

The event will be held on Saturday, 31st January 2026 from 12:00pm to 8:30pm at Vikings Rugby Club, 33 Swan Street Wollongong. Divisions include Opens and Advanced, with team categories for Female/Female, Male/Male and Mixed pairs.

 

We’re doing something different that you won’t see at other local competitions. The Throwdown kicks off just after lunch and finishes as the sun sets, creating a festival-style atmosphere with music, food, and an incredible community vibe.

 

Competitors will take on four scored events that will test their fitness across multiple elements. Cash prizes and other goodies will be announced as we get closer to the event. All movement standards and workouts will be released in advance so you know exactly what to prepare for.

 

REFUND POLICY - no refund after purchase for any reason. We recommend you take out event insurance. 

 

The Twilight Throwdown is all about quality over quantity. The Advanced division is capped at sixteen pairs per category, and the Opens division is capped at twenty-four pairs per category. Once these spots are filled, that’s it, so get in early and secure your place.

 

A live DJ will be setting the vibe throughout the day, while local food trucks will keep everyone fuelled. 2 Smokin Barrels will be serving authentic Texan BBQ, Lick My Bowls will have acai bowls and protein shakes, and Bean Roasted Coffee will be pouring Campos coffee to keep you amped from start to finish. More food trucks and vendors will be announced on our Instagram page as we get closer to the event. Spectators are welcome to come along and enjoy the afternoon cheering on their mates.
