About This Competition
CONQUER THE COAST 2026
Victoria Park, Southport | Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th July 2026
We’re back for two action-packed days of competition at Victoria Park.
Each team will compete on one day only, depending on their category:
- Saturday 25th July 2026: Everyday Athletes
- Sunday 26th July 2026: Intermediate & RX Athletes
With new workouts, bigger challenges and the same electric Conquer the Coast atmosphere, we’re spreading the competition across the weekend to keep the experience smooth, exciting and spectator-friendly. Exact workout details will be released closer to the event and we can’t wait to see it all unfold.

MOVEMENT STANDARDS
EVERYDAY ATHLETES
Competing Saturday 25th July 2026
This category is built for the Everyday athlete. Workouts are designed to be inclusive, fun and challenging without requiring advanced gymnastics skills or heavy loads. Perfect if you’re newer to CrossFit, train consistently but don’t specialise in high-skill movements, or simply love competing with your mates.
Expect accessible movements, sensible loading and a proper competition feel, without the pressure of specialist skills.
INTERMEDIATE ATHLETES
Competing Sunday 26th July 2026
Athletes in this category should be confident performing the following movements:
- Toes-to-Bar
- Pull-Ups
- Rope Climbs
Loading:
- Dumbbells: 15kg / 10kg
- Kettlebells: 16kg / 12kg
RX ATHLETES
Competing Sunday 26th July 2026
Designed for experienced CrossFit athletes, this category will test higher-level skills, capacity and heavier loading across multiple workouts.
Athletes should be comfortable with the following movements:
- Bar Muscle-Ups
- Handstand Walks
- Legless Rope Climbs
Loading:
- Dumbbells: 22.5kg / 15kg
- Kettlebells: 24kg / 16kg
Important:
At least one athlete per team must be capable of performing Legless Rope Climbs and Handstand Walks. These movements will not be required of every athlete on the team.
