After a four-year break, one of the UK's premier indoor rowing events is making its long-awaited comeback — and it's bigger than ever. The English Indoor Rowing Championships returns this September, hosted at Bolton Arena, and for the first time in its history, it will run alongside the legendary Rainhill Trials.

This exciting double-header promises an unmissable day of athleticism, energy, and elite competition. Whether you're chasing a PB, climbing the podium, or soaking up the electric atmosphere, this is a championship not to be missed.

Inclusive Categories for All Levels:

▪ All age Groups from J11 to 76+ for men and women

✅ Qualifying Rules
To ensure fair and competitive racing:

No pre-qualifying times are required. All competitors enter based on category (e.g., Age, Gender).
 
Adaptive Categories must meet British Rowing indoor para-rowing classification standards.
Age categories are based on the competitor’s age as of 31 December 2025.

Winner Verification Requirement

All event winners must provide valid photo identification to verify their identity before any prizes are awarded.
