For beginners, finishing Joshie at any time is a great starting point. As you build strength and conditioning, your times will naturally improve. The community median shown above gives a useful target once you have a base level of fitness. Don't compare yourself to elite athletes — track your personal improvement over time.

After you submit your Joshie PR, other KettleBoards athletes vote on whether it's legitimate. Each voter's influence is weighted by their own number of verified PRs. Once your PR earns at least 3 votes with a positive net score, it becomes "official" and is ranked on the public leaderboard.

PR submissions use the RX standard for each workout. The community voting process helps ensure submitted scores meet the RX standard. Scaled efforts are great for training but the leaderboard reflects RX performance.
