The Gauntlet 2026 (TCSC Kamloops)
About This Competition
The Gauntlet is a true gauntlet-style competition format. Once a heat begins, teams progress through Workouts 1 through 4 on a fixed work/rest timeline.
Each team (or athlete) will:
- Start once
- Complete all workouts in sequence
- Finish their full gauntlet in approximately 40 minutes
- This format creates a fast-moving, high-energy, one-and-done competition experience!
Schedule will be posted closer to start date (or when registration sells out). Teams can expect their heat schedule to run exactly on time.
🚨 ERGSHOOT IS COMING TO THE GAUNTLET 🚨
One of the workouts at The Gauntlet will feature ERGSHOOT — making this the first competition in Canada to include this next-level, interactive fitness experience.
So… what is ERGSHOOT?
ERGSHOOT combines real-time performance data with precision-based targets. Athletes race against the clock on an erg (Bike / Row / Ski) while pairing their effort with laser pistol target shooting.

NOTES
All reps for the bodyweight complex and thrusters can be split as the team sees fit. The bodyweight complexes do not have to be unbroken (you can come down from the bar), but each single complex must be completed by one athlete. Eg. You can't have one athlete do a burpee and a C2B, then have the other athlete finish the complex by doing the 2 remaining bar muscle-ups.
Additional details will be included in Competition Corner, explained on the day of the event, and if deemed necessary, a video will be sent out prior.
