About This Competition

A pairs throwdown on Jan 24th with two divisions, ED and RX. Teams of one male and one female will take on three demanding workouts built to test teamwork, strength, and engine. Each gym runs the event in house with athletes starting in waves. Accessible for everyday athletes, tough enough to push RX competitors.

3 minutes on / 3 Minutes off

Then Max Effort C2 Bike for 3 minutes

Format

Each athlete completes 2 x 3 minute max effort rows
After both athletes have completed their rounds, share the C2 for a final max effort sprint

Time cap: 15 minutes

Workout 1 – ED

• Each person gets 60 seconds at each station:

Max reps sandbag to shoulder
40 / 30 kg
Max reps get ups, left side
7.5 / 15 kg
Max reps sandbag squats
40 / 30 kg
Max reps get ups, right side
7.5 / 15 kg
 
 
 

Workout 1 – RX

Each person gets 5 minutes to build to a 3RM front squat from the floor

 

2 minutes to complete a max set of push ups on dumbbells
