About This Competition

Double Trouble Throwdown is a two-day functional fitness competition where mixed teams of two (1 female + 1 male) come together to compete for the title of Fittest Mixed Team in Curaçao.

This year’s event will take place across two different locations:
📍 Friday, October 3rd – Pisina Benny Leito
📍 Saturday, October 4th – 5 Triple 9 Fitness

Teams will compete in one of three divisions:

Intermediate – For athletes with a solid base of strength and skills, ready to be challenged.
Scaled – For athletes still building up skills and confidence in more technical movements.
Just for Fun – Our newest division, created for athletes who are new to the sport or simply want to enjoy the competition experience without the pressure of competing for a podium spot.
The Just for Fun division is all about participation, good vibes, and community. Workouts will be scaled and judging will be more lenient; we’ll adapt movements as needed to make sure everyone can join in. Plus, same-sex teams are welcome in this category! While this division won’t be eligible for podium placement, it’s a great way to feel the energy of the competition floor and get a taste of what it’s all about.

The registration fee is $100 USD per team (platform fees may apply). This includes:
✔️ Entry to the competition
✔️ An official event T-shirt
✔️ A chance to win exciting sponsor goodies if you land on the podium (Scaled+Intermediate)
(Cash prizes awarded to the top 3 teams in the Intermediate division)

Whether you're in it to win it or just want to be part of the action, Double Trouble is all about community, challenge, and celebration.
