Bidwell Brawl is more than just a competition—it’s a celebration of the CrossFit community and the spirit of healthy challenge. Designed to bring athletes of all levels together, the event blends the grit of competition with the strength of camaraderie, creating a culture unlike any other.
At its core, Bidwell Brawl highlights the essence of CrossFit training: functional movement, adaptability, and resilience. Workouts test strength, endurance, and skill, but also emphasize strategy, pacing, and mental toughness. Event 1 - "WHYROX"

FLOW:
Both partners will run the 400m portions together. Once the first run is complete, partners may begin subsequent movements in order. Reps and meters other than the runs may be split as needed. (Squats, Row, Echo Bike, Burpee to Plate, Walking Lunges).
SCORING:
The time to complete all reps or “CAP+X” where “X” is the number of uncompleted reps (Time cap: 18 min)
TIEBREAKER: time partner two completes the calories on the bike.

For this workout, reps may be split up as needed. Partners will complete 40 HSPU/HRPU, 40 Deadlifts, 30 HSPU/HRPU, 30 Deadlifts, 20 HSPU/HRPU, 20 Deadlifts. Partners will then progress to completing max reps of thrusters rx 75/55 - sc 45/35.
SCORING: Cumulative Max Thruster Reps
TIEBREAKER: time that the first portion is complete (last deadlift time).
Build to a Max Snatch Load : 8 minutes
20 Double Unders (RX) - (before each snatch attempt)
40 Single Unders (SC) - (before each snatch attempt)
Snatch – Max Load
FLOW:
Each athlete must complete both parts (A & B).
For part (A), both athletes must complete 20 double unders (RX) / 40 single unders (SC) each before making any attempt at the max snatch load.
Teams will rest for two minutes and then move to part (B).
SCORING:
Part (A) score will be a cumulative max snatch weight (sum of both partners max snatch weight).
TIEBREAKER Events 3A & 3B:
Cumulative Team Snatch Weight.
Max Reps @ 70% Max Snatch Load - 4:00 minutes
FLOW:
Each athlete must complete both parts (A & B).
For part (B) - 4:00 minutes, each athlete must complete max reps at 70% of their previously completed snatch load from part (A).
SCORING:
Part (B) score will be the cumulative number of max reps completed by both partners.
