Division Standards:
RX Division
This division is for seasoned athletes who train and compete at a high level.
•You consistently perform CrossFit Open workouts RX without modification.
•High-skill gymnastics like muscle-ups, handstand walks, and chest-to-bar pull-ups are part of your toolbox — not your limiters.
•You move heavier weights with confidence and are regularly near the top of your gym’s leaderboard.
•You’ve competed before and are ready to throw down with the best.
Typically Level 8, 9, and 10 Athletes by CrossFit Open standards should register as RX.
Intermediate Division
Perfect for athletes who train hard and go RX often, but are still building toward advanced gymnastics or heavier loads.
•You completed most of the Open workouts RX, but may have scaled those with complex gymnastics.
•You’re comfortable with standard weights and can hold your own in most class workouts.
•You might miss a time cap occasionally, but you’re not backing down from a challenge.
•You’ve either done a comp or are ready for one — and want to see how far you can push.
Typically Level 5, 6, and 7 Athletes by CrossFit Open standards should register as RX.
Scaled Division
This division is for newer athletes or those still developing consistency in foundational skills and weights.
•You typically scale Open workouts and most daily WODs.
•You’re newer to CrossFit or this is your first competition — and you’re excited to learn and compete.
•Standard gymnastics (pull-ups, toes-to-bar, double unders) may not be there yet — but you’re ready to move smart and strong.
•You can confidently perform modified movements like jumping pull-ups, knee raises, and single unders.
Typically Level 1-4 Athletes by CrossFit Open standards should register as Scaled.
