12 Min AMRAP – Total Reps + Calories
Partner 1: 1 ROUND OF;
10 Single-Arm DB Hang Clean to Overhead (M: 22.5 kg / F: 15 kg)
10 Burpees over DB
30ft (9m) Walking Lunges (bodyweight)
Partner 2: SkiErg (Max Calories)
Swap when round is completed (1 Round = 22 reps)
MOVEMENT STANDARDS
Athletes start standing face to face between their designated Ski Erg and dumbbell (DB). At the call of “3, 2, 1… Go!” both athletes turn around to begin their first assigned modality (Ski calories or the exercise round).
For the Hang Clean to Overhead, athletes must reach a standing position with hips fully extended before starting the first rep of the hang clean. Any press or jerk is allowed, but the DB must finish in full lockout overhead with hips and knees extended. Failure to start in a standing position results in a no-rep: the next valid rep counts.
For Burpees over the DB, the chest must touch the floor with shoulders below the elbows. In the jump over the DB, a two foot take off jump OR gallop is permitted - both feet must be in the air together at some point and pass OVER the DB. Reps completed in front of or behind the DB do not count.
In the lunge section, 1 rep = 4.5m / 15ft. The foot must fully cross the line for the rep to count. Once an athlete completes the 30ft walking lunges, they tap their skiing partner to swap roles. Passing of handles is permitted.
