Same-Sex Teams of 2 | Scaled • Intermediate • RX

The summer heat is gone, but the competition is just heating up. Join us on Saturday, November 15th at CrossFit HPC for a full day of sweat, teamwork, and throwdown energy.

Athletes will battle through 3 challenging workouts plus a finals event for the top teams. Expect barbell cycling, gymnastics, conditioning, and the kind of grit-testing workouts that make you dig deep alongside your partner.

Whether you’re chasing the podium in RX, pushing limits in Intermediate, or stepping onto the competition floor for the first time in Scaled, there’s a spot for you.

Kids Team of 2 (Ages 8-11 & 12–15) – Young athletes will team up for age-appropriate workouts. Every participant gets a t-shirt, and podium spots will be awarded in each age group!

Workouts

Floater Event: Grip & Rip
Time Cap: 2 Minutes
Format: One athlete works at a time
Score: Total combined reps

Workout Description:
Teams will have 2 minutes to complete as many reps as possible. Only one athlete may work at a time, tagging their partner in and out as desired. Your team’s score is the total number of completed reps across both athletes.

Divisions:

RX: Bar Muscle-Ups
Intermediate: Chest-to-Bar Pull-Ups
Scaled: Jumping Pull-Ups
Kids: Jumping Pull-Ups
Jumping Pull-Up Standard:
To ensure fairness for all heights:

The athlete will stand tall under the pull-up bar and reach overhead with arms fully extended and heels down.
The bar should be 6 inches above the athlete’s fingertips. Adjust the box or plate height accordingly.
Each rep starts with arms fully extended and feet on the box.
Jump and pull until the chin clearly passes over the bar, then return to full arm extension before the next rep.
No kipping or excessive swinging.

Event 3 – Heavy Harvest
Workout Description:
This event is completed in two parts. Teams will use one shared barbell for both portions.

Part A: 0:00–6:00 AMRAP for total reps
Part B: 6:00–12:00 to establish a 1-Rep Max Power Clean (combined total)
Teams may adjust weights between parts as needed, but both partners must share one barbell and take turns during attempts.

Part A – 0:00 to 6:00
AMRAP (as many rounds as possible):

30 Power Snatches
30 Bar-Facing Burpees
Reps may be split however the team chooses.

Weights:

RX: 135 lb for men / 95 lb for women
Intermediate: 95 lb for men / 65 lb for women
Scaled: 75 lb for men / 55 lb for women

Part B – 6:00 to 12:00
6-Minute Window to Build to a 1-Rep Max Power Clean

Partners share one barbell and alternate attempts.
The team score for Part B is the combined max lift of both athletes.

Scoring:
Part A: Total reps completed in 6 minutes
Part B: Combined 1RM Power Clean


Kids Division:
 0:00 to 6:00

AMRAP: 30 Deadlifts + 30 Bar-Facing Burpees (55 lb bar)

Workout Description:
This event is completed in two parts. Teams will use one shared barbell for both portions.

Part A: 0:00–6:00 AMRAP for total reps
Part B: 6:00–12:00 to establish a 1-Rep Max Power Clean (combined total)

Event 1 – Krazy Karen
Workout Description:
For time, complete the following as a team. Both partners may work simultaneously and switch at any time. Any reps not completed before the 10-minute time cap will add 1 second per remaining rep to the team’s total time.


RX Division:
150 Wall Balls (30 lb for men, 20 lb for women)
Echo Bike: 150 calories for men / 100 calories for women

Intermediate Division:
150 Wall Balls (20 lb for men, 14 lb for women)
Echo Bike: 150 calories for men / 100 calories for women

Scaled Division:
150 Wall Balls (14 lb for men, 10 lb for women)
Echo Bike: 150 calories for men / 100 calories for women

Kids Division:
For time:

100 Wall Ball Thrusters (10 lb)
While one partner works, the other must hold a wall sit. Partners may tag in and out as often as desired.


Event 2 – Pass the Plate
Workout Description:
This event is performed relay style.

Partner 1 completes one full round, then tags Partner 2.
Partner 2 completes one full round.
The team’s time is the total time to finish both rounds.
Time Cap: 12 minutes
Any unfinished reps at the time cap will add 1 second per rep to the team’s total time.

RX Division:
2 Rounds (1 per partner)

50 ft Dumbbell Walking Lunge
25 Dumbbell Shoulder-to-Overhead
50 ft Handstand Walk
5 Wall Walks
Weights: 50 lb dumbbells for men / 35 lb dumbbells for women


Intermediate Division:
2 Rounds (1 per partner)

50 ft Dumbbell Walking Lunge
25 Dumbbell Shoulder-to-Overhead
50 ft Weighted Dumbbell Bear Crawl
5 Wall Walks
Weights: 35 lb dumbbells for men / 25 lb dumbbells for women


Scaled Division:
2 Rounds (1 per partner)

50 ft Dumbbell Walking Lunge
25 Dumbbell Shoulder-to-Overhead
50 ft Bodyweight Bear Crawl
5 Scaled Wall Walks
Weights: 25 lb dumbbells for men / 20 lb dumbbells for women


Kids Division:
2 Rounds (1 per partner)
