Get ready for The Gritty II! 
Our in-house competition is back — bigger, bolder, and grittier than ever. With two divisions and workouts for all levels of fitness, this is your chance to challenge yourself, cheer on your teammates, and celebrate what our Grit Force community is all about: fun, family, and high fives all day long. Let’s throw down and make this one to remember! One day, 4 workouts guaranteed for everyone.

EVENT 2 – “The Grit Grinder” (Cardio Grinder)

EVENT 4 – “The Grit Sprint”

Short. Savage. Leave it all out there. (Bodyweight + Engine Burnout)

7-Minute Cap (4 Rounds for Time)

Very Gritty:

10 Burpees to a plate
10 Russian Swings (53/35 lb)
10 Cal Bike

Pretty Gritty:

8 Burpees to a plate
8 Russian KB Swings (35/25 lb)
8 Cal Bike

Score: Total Time to complete 4 rounds

EVENT 1 – “The Iron Complex” 

Pure power. Precision. Control the bar.

Goal: Heaviest successful complex in 7 minutes

Very Gritty Complex:
1 Clean + 1 Hang Clean + 1 Front Squat + 1 Shoulder to Overhead (push press, push jerk, split jerk)

Pretty Gritty Complex:
1 Clean + 1 Hang Clean + 1 Shoulder to Overhead

Details:

7-minute running clock to build to heaviest successful complex.
Bar must not drop between movements.
Score = heaviest successful completed complex.

Description: On the call of 3..2..1.. GO, athletes will declare their start weight and load the bar. Athletes must have collars on the bar, and no weights in their direct lifting area before attempting the complex. Athletes will be responsible for changing the weights on their bars, and declaring the weight to their judge. 

The barbell starts on the floor for the complex. Bar must not drop between movements. A squat or power clean is allowed. A shoulder press, push press, push jerk, or split jerk may be used to get the weight overhead. The barbell must come to full lockout overhead with the hips, knees, and arms fully extended, and the bar directly over the middle of the body.

EVENT 3 – “Unbreakable” (Functional Strength Circuit)

6 Deadlifts (185/125 lb)
8 1-DB Shoulder-to-Overhead (50/35 lb)
10 Alternating Reverse Lunges (Single DB) (50/35)
12 MB Ab Mat Sit Ups 20/14

Pretty Gritty:

6 Deadlifts (135/95 lb)
8 1-DB Shoulder-to-Overhead (35/20 lb)
10 Alt Reverse Lunges (Single DB) (35/20)
12 Ab Mat Sit Ups
