About This Competition
Come join us at CrossFit Council Bluffs for the 8th annual CF 4 CF event!
Get ready to challenge yourself and push your limits in a fun and supportive environment. Join us at "2025 CF 4 CF Event", 9/20/2025 at CrossFit Council Bluffs. Teams x 2 Fitness Event to raise awareness and funds to Find a Cure.
This year will be a Team x 2 Combination of your choosing; Male/Male, Female/Female, Male/Female Teams matched up against each other to see who was the fittest team given the test that is applied. We are also very excited to host this event at its origins at CrossFit Council Bluffs.
Each Team Donation to enter will be $120/team and is due at the event when you check in your team. Cash, Venmo or Paypal. An electric transactional fee of 2% will be applied to the Venmo and Paypal donations (Total = $122.40)
This event represents bringing people together for a cause greater than themselves by attacking a Team WOD Event. All Teams must consist of pairs that are in the SAME DIVISION (Intermediate and Scaled Divisions)
Much like the color fun runs, 5k races and walks that people participate in for a worthy cause; this CrossFit event is centered around the same idea: Using fitness as a vessel to bring awareness and support to a cause greater than ourselves. We want to give back to you as much as you have given to us.
All Proceeds for this event will go towards the CF 4 Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This foundation donates 75% of its total annual fundraising to the Cystic Fibrosis foundation to help support the continued development in research towards finding a cure for this terrible disease.
The remaining 25% help run the various events the foundation supports to bring awareness, which help raise funds in support of finding a cure for cystic fibrosis.
What is Cystic Fibrosis?
Cystic fibrosis is a genetic disorder that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs.
Close to 40,000 people in the U.S. have cystic fibrosis, a rare genetic disease.
In the lungs, the mucus clogs the airways and traps germs, like bacteria, leading to infections, inflammation, respiratory failure, and other complications. For this reason, avoiding germs is a top concern for people with CF.
Today, because of improved medical treatments and care, more than half of people with CF are age 18 or older. Many people with CF can expect to live healthy, fulfilling lives into their 30s, 40s, and beyond.
