About This Competition
Its back for the 3nd year running!
Prepare for a Halloween fitness extravaganza like no other! The Cauldron Cup CrossFit Challenge is back, and it's bigger, scarier, and more thrilling than ever before. Gather your fellow athletes and don your spookiest costumes for a spine-tingling day of fitness and frights.
Competition Format:
Team Categories: This Halloween-themed CrossFit competition welcomes teams of two athletes, either both male or both female. Team up with your training partner or a fellow fitness enthusiast and prepare to tackle the most daunting WODs (Workouts of the Day) you've ever encountered.
Costume Requirement: In the spirit of Halloween, all participants are encouraged to dress in their most creative and eerie costumes. Whether you're a pair of ghastly ghosts, wicked witches, or ferocious Frankensteins, your costumes will be judged for creativity and fright factor. Prizes will be awarded to the best-dressed teams, so get your spooky style on!
WOD Variety: The Cauldron Cup CrossFit Challenge will feature a spine-chilling lineup of WODs that will test your strength, endurance, and teamwork. Expect to encounter haunted wall balls, ghostly kettlebell swings, and burpees that will send shivers down your spine. Each WOD will have a Halloween twist, keeping you in the holiday spirit throughout the competition.
Frighteningly Good Prizes: Compete for the chance to win terrifyingly awesome prizes, including CrossFit gear, gift cards, and more. Not only will the top-performing teams be rewarded, but there will also be special prizes for the best costumes, so make sure to bring your A-game in both fitness and fashion.
Spectator Fun: Even if you're not participating, come join us for a Cauldron Cup time! Spectators are welcome to cheer on their favorite teams and enjoy the eerie atmosphere. There will be food, refreshments, and Halloween-themed activities for everyone to enjoy.
Safety First: We prioritize the safety of all participants. Our judges and staff will ensure that all workouts are performed with proper form and technique to minimize the risk of injury. COVID-19 safety measures will also be in place to protect the health of all attendees.

You will get 3 attempts to reach your 3 rep max deadlift. Workout will run waterfall style, one athlete lifting at a time. You will have 30 seconds to complete the lift upon your turn. Partners will alternate turns until all 6 attempts are complete. Score is total weight.
