Ipswich’s Biggest CrossFit Competition
Fittest in the West is BACK this November!
Last year was a vibe—this year we’re bringing the same energy... and then some.
With over 100 teams competing each year, this is one of the biggest and most talked-about fitness events in Ipswich. Same-sex pairs (MM/FF) go head-to-head across multiple divisions, testing their strength, grit, and teamwork.

📺 Workout Release
Workouts will be released via video in the lead-up to competition day. Each release will include:
- Workout flow
- Movement standards
- Loading requirements
🏆 Prizes
- Top 3 in every division win prizes
- Top 3 Rx Teams take home cash prizes
📝 Registration Info
- Entry Fee: $190 per pair (non-refundable, transferable up to 48 hours prior to competition)
What’s Included:
- 1 full day of competition
- 3–4 scored workouts + possible final
- Athlete area access

How to Register:
- Register under your chosen division
- Provide team name, athlete names, and affiliate/unaffiliated status
- Confirm you meet division standards before registering (division swaps possible if spots remain)
- All athletes must complete a waiver before competing

Workouts
Event 1 - Monkey Business
4 Rounds
Every 2:30
REST 1min in between rounds
On the call of 3..2..1.. Go
Both athletes will make their way from the staret line to the Echo Bike and complete the required calories.
After the athletes complete tehor required calories, they will make their way to the wall and complete their required movement.
Once completed the athletes will head over to the rig and complete the MAX amount of repettitons for their division in Time remaining.
At the end of 2:30 athletes will have 1 minute to rest and return to the start line. Repeat this for 4 rounds
Athletes may share the reps however. Your score will the total repetitons completed on the Rig accumulated in the 4 rounds

10 Scaled wall walks - Males Yellow tape, Females Red tape.

15 Minute CAP for both Event 2/3
EVENT 2 - Beauty
For Time (0:00 - 10:00 MIN):
10 – 8 – 6 – 4 – 2
• Squat Snatch
• Synchro Bar Lateral Burpees
On the call of 3, 2, 1, Go…
Athlete 1 will begin their first 10 squat snatches while Athlete 2 stands in the designated box.
Once complete, Athlete 1 must tag Athlete 2
Athlete 2 will complete their 10 squats snatches whilst Athlete 1 is waiting in the designated box.
Once both athletes have completed their 10 squat snatches, athletes will then complete 10 synchro bar lateral burpees.
Athletes must jump with both feet at the same time, synchronising is at the bottom of the burpee with their chest and thighs on the floor at sametime.
Continue this pattern through the rep scheme (8-6-4-2)
⚡️ If Event 2 is completed under the 10-minute cap, athletes may begin Event 3 immediately.
At the 10:00 minute mark - EVENT 3 - The Beast - Begins
(10:00 - 15:00) - Find a 2 Rep Max Overhead Squat
➡️ Lifts will be taken from the rack.
➡️ Bars may be preloaded prior to the workout.
➡️ Score = Total combined weight lifted by both athletes.
Beginners: Find a 2 Rep Max Front Squat
EVENT 3 - Beauty and the Beast
In Remaining Time:
Find a 2 Rep Max Overhead Squat
➡️ Lifts will be taken from the rack.
➡️ Bars may be preloaded prior to the workout.
➡️ Score = Total combined weight lifted by both athletes.

60/50 Cal Row
120 Double Unders + Sandbag Hold
20 Sandbag Cleans
200m Bear Hug Sandbag Carry
20 Sandbag Cleans
120 Double Unders + Sandbag Hold
➡️Workout Flow
*Athletes will start on the rower with hands behind their back.
On the call of 3 2 1 Go. Athletes may then begin their 60/50 cal row. (swapping in and out as needed)
Once completed, athletes will make their way over to the Sandbag and skipping rope.
One Athlete will start 120 double unders whilst the other holds the sandbag.
Reps may be shared.
*Athlete must be holding Sandbag on shoulder before other athlete can begin to double under.
Once completed, Athletes will then complete 20 sandbag cleans. Hips must be locked out, with arm clearance.
Athletes will then complete 200m Bear Hug sandbag carry.
Sandbag must be held in front, not on shoulders or back.
Once completed, Athletes will then make their way back up the workout. 20 sandbag cleans, 120 DU + sandbag hold, 60/50 cal row.

Athletes will have a 7min total time cap (shared running clock) to build to a 1RM Clean and Jerk and 1RM complex of 1 Clean, 1 hang Clean and 2 Jerks. *Bars may be preloaded.
