About This Competition
ELFIT Calisthenics is back in its 5th edition and will be held on 21 November at the New Capital Sports city as part of ELFIT Sports & Fitness Games 13th edition.
ELFIT Sports & Fitness Games is not just an event, it’s the biggest multi-sports festival in Egypt & the MENA region, featuring more than 8 different competitions & sports including ELFIT Championship, the biggest competition in the region.
WHO CAN JOIN?
Whether you’re new to competition or a pro,Male or Female, ELFIT Calisthenics is for you! The event is open to all and there are no qualifiers.
DIVISIONS:
The event will have two categories (Power & Strength) that participants could choose to participate in one or in both if they want
- Men Strength
- Women Strength
- Men Power
COMPETITION FORMAT:
POWER:
1 rep-max in (Muscle-ups/Dips/Pull-ups/Squats)
- Athletes will be allowed three attempts to lift their maximum weight for each movement.
- Each attempt has a 60-second time limit from the judge's signal to complete the lift.
- The heaviest successful attempt for each movement will be recorded and combined to calculate the athlete's total score.
- The highest total weight across all four movements will determine the winner.
STRENGTH:
The Strength Competition will test athletes across three different stages, with each round presenting unique challenges. The event starts with a qualification phase and proceeds through a series of elimination rounds, culminating in a final showdown to determine the best competitor.
- Qualification Round: All athletes will compete in a set of exercises designed to be completed as quickly as possible.
Athletes will be ranked according to their finishing times, with the top 12 fastest athletes advancing to the next stage.
- Battle Round:
The Battle will have two sub-rounds, featuring head-to-head knockout matches:
Round 1: The top 12 athletes from the Qualification Round will face off, with matchups based on ranking (e.g., 1st vs. 12th, 2nd vs. 11th). The winners from these six matchups will move on to Round 2.
Round 2: The six winners will compete in three head-to-head matches, with each match determining a finalist.
Winners from each Round 2 match will proceed to the final. - Finals:The top three remaining athletes will compete Together to determine the ultimate winner.

REGISTRATION:
- Platform: All Athletes' registration are via Competition Corner
- Early Bird Registration: 5 September - 30 September
- Late Registration: 1 October- 31 October
- Registration Deadline: Registration will close on 31 October 2025, or upon
- reaching full capacity
- Policy: Registration is on a first come first serve base
REGISTRATION BENEFITS:
- 1x Athlete participation spot
- 1x Official ELFIT Calisthenics T-shirt
- 1x ELFIT Games Weekend entry ticket for each athlete to use for themselves (Coaches, Family & Friends will have to purchase a spectator ticket)
SPECTATORS:
- Coaches, families & friends will have to purchase ELFIT Sports & Fitness Games spectator ticket to enter the event
- The tickets will be available soon.
CLOTHING & EQUIPMENT RULES:
- Liquid or Powder Magnesium: Participants are allowed to use liquid or powder magnesium during their performance, which will be provided by the Organizer.
- Prohibited Accessories: Participants are prohibited from using gloves, knee, elbow, wrist, back, or any additional accessories during their performance.
- Clothing Requirements: Participants' clothes must adhere to the following guidelines:
- Tight-Fitting Clothes: Participants are required to wear tight-fitting clothes or shorts that clearly display their joints, specifically the elbows and knees, when performing.
- Footwear: Closed-toe shoes are allowed, but gymnastic shoes are not.

* ELFIT has the right to cancel or merge any divisions that don't have at least 5 participants
* ELFIT has the right to change the competition format at any time

Back Squat
- Each athlete has 3 attempts per lift.
- The heaviest valid attempt in each lift counts toward the athlete’s total score.
- Athletes must record at least one valid rep in every discipline to remain in the official ranking.
- If no valid rep is achieved in a discipline, the athlete may continue to lift unofficially but will be excluded from total ranking.
- In case of a tie on total lifted weight, the athlete with the higher squat weight
- If still tied, the athlete with fewer missed attempts wins.
- Athletes have 60 seconds from the command “Platform Ready!” to begin their attempt.
- Athletes are entitled to a minimum rest of 6 minutes between attempts in the same discipline.
- Athletes may skip any attempt at their own discretion.
- Weight increases must follow official increments:
- +1.25 kg minimum for Muscle-Up, Pull-Up, and Dip.
- +5 kg minimum for Squat.
