Workouts

7 min to establish max weight.

Decide who is doing which lift before the workout begins. Once the workout begins, athletes may NOT switch. Both Athletes will begin behind the starting line. At the start of the workout, both athletes will move to the rig and begin loading weights. Barbells must be clamped for weight to count. Once loaded athletes may begin lifting. From the rack, one athlete will perform a 3 rep thruster, and the other athlete will perform a 2 rep split jerk. Only one person may be lifting at a time. Athletes may take as many attempts as needed in the 7 minutes. The score will be the combined weight of the 2 heaviest completed lifts.

Toes to Bar:

SC - Hanging Knee Raises

 

Box Jump Height:

RX/INT - 24/20

SC - Box Step Ups 24/20

 

Devil Press Weight:

RX - 70/50

INT - 50/35

SC - 35/25

 

Athletes will start facing away from the rig. They will have 10 minutes to complete as many reps as possible. At the start of the workout, the athletes will turn around and move to the rig to begin the 30 synchronized toes to bar. Athletes feet must first pass behind the plane of the rig and then touch the bar at the top at the same time for the reps to count. Once the reps are completed, they will then move on to the 20 synchronized box jumps. Athletes must land on the box with both feet at the same time and stand to full extension for reps to count. After completion they will then move onto the 10 synchronized alternating single arm devil press. Athletes must start the movement with the same hand. They must also touch the ground at the bottom and reach full extension at the top at the same time for reps to count. In the event of a tie, the tiebreaker will be the time finished of the last completed set of devil presses.

On a 7 minute timer athletes will complete 20 muscle ups split up however they desire. Then 50 alternating pistols split up however they desire. They then have to complete a 50 foot handstand walk each. Once completed, they will then complete as many wall walk complexes as they can in the remaining time. Athletes may switch as desired. Score will be the total number of completed reps. In the event of a tie, the tiebreaker will be the time completion of the muscle ups.

The workout begins with an 800m Partner Run. Both  teammates will run together holding a 2ft rope for the entirety of the run. The tiebreak time will stop as soon as the team crosses the starting line. Upon returning, the team will deposit ropes and head inside. Before heading to designated lane, the team must run to the dividing line. Once inside, the teams will then start their 3 rounds of 20 reverse lunge wallballs, 20 cleans, & calories on the Echo Bike. Teams must split the reps evenly down the middle, and must complete all 10 reps before their partner can begin theirs. It cannot be partitioned any other way. Once both partners have completed the movement they can then move on to the next movement.
