About This Competition

We're running the Southenders in house comp back, but this time each workout will individual. 1 workout released every Monday. The workouts will be challenging but inclusive for all :)
Advanced, RX and Open levels for each workout. Prizes for the winners of each category. Starting Monday 2nd December!

Event 1 - For Time

 

20 Cal Row

50 Toes to Bar (Adv) 30 TTB (RX) 30 Toes to Rig (Open)

20 Cal Row

40 Chest to Bar Pull Ups (Adv) 25 Chest to Bar Pull Ups (RX) 40 Ring Rows (Open)

20 Cal Row

30 Bar Muscle Ups (Adv) 20 Bar Muscle Ups (RX) 20 Pull Ups (Opne can use band if needed)

 

Notes:

Share reps as needed. If you have a mixed team do the higher of the two rep ranges. 

Event 2 - For Time

Buy In - 30 Partner Wall Balls

10 Rounds, Round for Round with Partner YGIG (5 Rounds each)

3 Power Snatches (Open - Power Cleans)

5 Overhead Squats (Open is Front Squats)

7 Bar Facing Burpees

Buy Out 30 Partner Wall Balls

 

Bar:

Open 50/35kg

RX 60/40kg

ADV 70/50kg

Event 3 - For Time

Performed as a relay, athelete #1 completes 9,6,3 of:

Deadlifts (Open 80/50kg, RX 100/70kg, ADV 120/90kg)

DB Bench Press (Open 15/10kg, RX 22.5/15kg, ADV 30/22.5kg)

Squat Cleans (Open 50/35kg, RX 70/45kg, ADV 80/55kg)

 

Notes: First athlete does 9 deads, 9 bench, 9 squat cleans, then 6 deads, 6 bench etcthen tags in partner 2. Workout is complete when the second athlete finishes or 5 minutes is up. 

Everyone rests from minute 5 to minute 7 when event 4 starts. 

 

Event 4 - For max weight in 8 minutes

Each athlete must post their biggest lift of the following complex

3 Deads

2 Power Cleans

1 Thruster

Notes: Athletes can have 2 barbells but only one athlete can lift at once. Scores are combined lifts as shaded as:

Open athletes 110% total score

RX athletes 100% total scores

Advanced 90% total scores
