About This Competition
Fourth Annual Americas Hometown Throwdown
Where - CrossFit1620
When - Saturday October 18 2025 0900 (Registration starts at 0800)
Why - To bring together athletes and spectators across the New England area who love the community and sport of CrossFit
What - An RX and Intermediate CrossFit Athlete Partner competition (M/M) (F/F). 20 teams per division. Guaranteed 4 events for all teams (3 workouts/1 floater). Top 3 teams of each division will podium.
Prizes- All Podium finishers in each division will receive miscellaneous items from top name sponsors and donators such as LRX apparel, Bear Grips, Little Leaf Farms, Nutre, and more to come!

TWO DIVISIONS: M/M F/F RX and M/M F/F INTERMEDIATE. TOP 3 TEAMS OF EACH DIVISION WILL PODIUM. A MINIMUM OF 8 TEAMS REQUIRED PER DIVISION.

100m Sandbag Carry (150/100, 100/70)
P2 starts as soon as P1 finishes.
Score is time when P2 finishes
6:00 cap
Teams will have 8 minutes to establish a 1RM Snatch + Overhead Squat. Snatch can be Power or Squat. For overhead squat, elbows must remain locked out and Squat must be below parallel. 1 Barbell, alternating turns. If you miss a lift you can take weight off.
Sinclair Coefficient scoring will be used
For Time:

Wallballs (20/14, 14/10)
T2B / sit-ups
Burpee BJO (24/20 both divisions. Step overs allowed in INT)
Split work as desired

P2 12 Alt single DB hang C&J (50/35, 35/25)
36 crossovers / DU (INT either)
Once 12:00 is up, rest 1 min then:
Max Double DB Devil's press in 2 min. (One partner working at a time, for 1 min at a time) 50/35, 35/25
