About This Competition

As a competition, our aim is to create an extremely high quality experience both to all athletes, regardless of division or ability.​

To compete in anything, at at any level is, as President Roosevelt stated, an act of “daring greatly.”

Additionally, the Battle of Mossy Creek aims to bring insight and awareness on the impact and importance of true, historical events that took place in our small town over 150 years ago. Stories of heroes, acts of bravery, and a rich history lie within the rolling hills and banks of Mossy Creek.  We seek to respect and be inspired by that past.

This year the format will be teams of 3. With many of the events being completed as pairs only while other events will allow athletes to emphasize their strengths by choosing a singular component of the event to complete.

*Teammates can switch barbells as desired, sync is at the top of each movement

*Team will adjust their own barbell weights
