2025 Cristini Athletics Winter Classic
About This Competition
The Cristini Athletics Winter Classic is a Team Competition for Same Sex Teams of 3.
The event will take place on Saturday December 6th in Markham. Located at 9833 Markham Road, Markham, Ontario.
Events take place in a waterfall format. Teams will compete event 1 and 5 minutes later they will complete event 2. The same format will apply during event 3 and 4.

This event has 3 divisions, scaled and Rx'd
10 Spots - Womens Scaled
10 Spots - Women Rx'd
10 Spots - Mens Scaled
10 Spots - Mens Rx'd
5 Spots - Womens Masters
5 Spots - Mens Masters
Scaled will compete in the morning.
Masters will compete early afternoon.
Rx'd will compete in the late afternoon.
PRIZES
There will be prizes for the Top 3 of each category.

Workouts

15/10 cal on all 3 machines (Row, Bike, Ski)
6 sandbag cleans 150/100lbs

On 3,2,1 go, 2 athletes all athletes well get on a machine. The specific order of machines is Echo Bike to Rower, Rower to Ski erg, Ski erg to Sandbag.
Once all three athletes reach 15/10 cals on their machine, the athlete from the ski erg will exit and perform6 sandbag cleans.
Once the 6 cleans are completed, they will advance to the Echo Bike. All athletes will advance to their next machine and repeat this order until each athlete has completed 2 rounds each and 6 rounds total for the team.

8 Syncro DB Snatch 50/35lbs
8 Syncro toes to bar

On the call of 3,2,1 go, athlete 1 and 2 will enter the field. They will begin with 8 synchro burpees over a paralette. Then they will complete 8 synchro alternating dumbbell snatches. Lastely they will complete 8 toes to bar. From there athlete 1 will run and tag athlete 3, where athlete 3 will then join athlete 2 on the field.
Once athlete 3 and 2 complete their burpees, snatches and toes to bar, athlete 2 will then leave the floor to tag athlete 1, where athlete 1 will then join athlete 3 on the field.
We will continue in this format until 9 rounds are complete.
It is mandatory to complete an entire round before a sub can be made. After a full round it is mandatory to rotate through athletes. It is also mandatory to maintain the order of athlete 1,2 and 3.
Masters

While 2 Athletes Hold 225/145 bar in deadlift

7 Wallball shots 30/20lbs
1 Wall Walk
Athletes rotate each round and each round add 1 wall walk
On the call or 3,2,1 go, Athlete 2 and 3 will pickup a bar for a deadlift hold. Then athlete 1 can start 7 wallballs followed by 1 wall walk.
Then athlete 1 will head to the barbell and hold the deadlift with athlete 3. Athlete 2 will then perform 7 wallballs followed by 2 wall walks.
Then athlete 2 will head to the barbell and hold the deadlift with athlete 1. Athlete 3 will then perform 7 wallballs followed by 3 wall walks.
Athletes will continue in this order for 10 minutes. After every finished rotation, athletes add 1 wall walk to the total of reps.

18/12 cal on all 3 machines (Row, Bike, Ski)

Once athlete 3 and 2 complete their burpees, snatches and knee raises, athlete 2 will then leave the floor to tag athlete 1, where athlete 1 will then join athlete 3 on the field.
We will continue in this format until 9 rounds are complete.
