About This Competition
TOTAL TERROR RETURNS FOR YEAR 5!!!
Half Halloween Party + Half Weightlifting Event = TOTAL BLAST.
T1'S Total Terror Event is a annual lifting competition that takes place in the month of October to benefit various charities and bring our local community together for purpose and for one heck of a good time.
Cash prizes provided for all podium finishers in each division. All other proceeds are donated directly to charity - Dwyerfire Gold Star Foundation, benefiting families surviving the loss of a combat veteran.
Divisions Include:
Women's CrossFit Total - 1RM Strict Press, 1RM Back Squat, 1RM Deadlift
Women's "Other" Total - 1RM Clean, 1RM Bench Press, 1RM Overhead Squat
Men's CrossFit Total - 1RM Strict Press, 1RM Back Squat, 1RM Deadlift
Men's "Other" Total - 1RM Clean, 1RM Bench Press, 1RM Overhead Squat
All athletes will be weighed at check-in, and Wilkes scoring applies (Body weight compared to Total weight lifted). Athletes are responsible for their own warm-up, and a warm-up area with equipment will be provided. Once on the floor, athletes have a total of 20 minutes to complete all three lifts. Lifts must be accomplished in order of how they are listed by event (Strict Press, then Back Squat, then Deadlift for The Crossfit Total, and Clean, then Bench Press, then Overhead Squat for The "Other" Total). An athlete can use as much of their time per lift as they like, but once they move on to the next lift, they may not return to a previous movement (Cannot backtrack to Clean once Bench Press has begun, etc.). Failure to successfully complete each lift at least once within the allotted 20 minutes will result in a 0 for that specific lift.
