2025 Turkey Ton Challenge
About This Competition
Description
An online, 48-hour challenge to showcase competitors’ best in the six following lifts: snatch, clean, jerk, back squat, bench press, & deadlift.

On Thursday, November 27th at 6:00 PM MST, the 48-hour submission window opens. At the same time, competitors will receive an email from the event organizers with a secret code that must be included in each video submission.

Competitors will submit a video of a successful attempt for each of the following lifts: snatch, clean, jerk, back squat, bench press, & deadlift.
Competitors can take as many attempts as necessary & perform the lifts in any order.
Before the lift, each video must include the following information:
- secret code
- athlete name
- weight of the attempt
After each successful lift, competitors must film the weights loaded on the bar as well as the weight of the bar. Clips must be used but are not included in the weight calculation.
Equipment that is weighted in kilos will be converted to pounds.
A separate video must be included for each lift. Each video submission must include the aforementioned requirements.
Submissions will not be accepted after 6:00 PM on November 29. No exceptions.
If you ordered a t-shirt, shirts will be available for pick up at Spanish Fork CrossFit.
If you're competing outside of Utah County, you'll be contacted for the best way to get you your t-shirt. PLEASE NOTE that additional fees to ship you your shirt may apply.
Competition registration fees are final and non-refundable.

Workouts
The barbell starts in the squat rack. After unracking the bar, the bar must be held in the back rack position. Athletes must lower the weight so that their hip crease is CLEARLY below the top of the knee followed by standing up the weight to full extension of knees & hips without any assistance.
Video must be from the athlete’s profile or ¾ view.
The barbell starts in the rack. A spotter must be present. Athletes will lift the bar out of the rack, showing straight arms & extended elbows. After demonstrating a straight arm, athletes will lower the weight to make clear contact with the chest. After making contact with the chest, athletes must lift the bar back to a fully locked out position. Once athletes have shown a fully extended elbow, the weight must be racked. Competitors cannot receive any assistance until the lift is completed. This does not include the unrack or rerack. If the spotter touches the bar at any other time, the lift is invalid.
Video must be done from a ¾ angle to clearly show contact with the chest.
The barbell starts on the floor. The athlete must lift the bar in a single motion from the ground to the front rack. The athlete must show control of the weight while it is in the front rack with full extension of the hip & knee.
Muscle, split, power, & squat cleans are allowed. Hang cleans of any kind are not allowed.
Video can be done from head on, a ¾ angle, or profile.
Bar starts on the ground. Athletes must lift the bar from the ground to a full stand without assistance. Conventional deadlifts only are permitted.
Video must be done from head on or a ¾ angle.
The barbell starts in the squat rack. After unracking the bar, the athlete must lift the bar in a single motion from the front rack to overhead. Athlete must show control of the weight while it is overhead with full extension of elbow, hip, & knee.
A press, push press, push jerk, or split jerk is allowed.
Video can be done from head on, a ¾ angle, or profile.
The barbell starts on the floor. The athlete must lift the bar in a single motion from the ground to overhead. The athlete must show control of the weight while it is overhead with full extension of the elbow, hip, & knee.
Muscle, split, power, & squat snatches are allowed. Hang snatches of any kind are not allowed.
