FAQs
1. What is the CrossFit Open?
The CrossFit Open is a worldwide, online competition where athletes from every gym — and every fitness level — complete one workout a week for three weeks. It’s the first stage of the CrossFit Games season, but here at CrossFit 267, it’s also a big community event with cheering, fun, and a little friendly competition.
2. Do I have to be competetive at CrossFit to participate?
Not at all! Every workout has Rx and scaled options so anyone can join — whether it’s your first month or your fifth year doing CrossFit. The Open is about challenging yourself and having fun with the community.
3. How does it work at CrossFit 267?
CrossFit HQ releases a new workout each Thursday.
We program it into class on Friday with heats, judges, and lots of cheering.
Can’t make Friday? You can still complete it in any class before Monday’s deadline.
4. Do I need to register on the official CrossFit site?
No. To participate itn the gym- you need to sign up for the in house open. If you want to see your worldwide results, sign up on the CrossFit site as well
5. What if I can’t do certain movements?
That’s the beauty of the Open — every workout has scaled and foundation versions. Our coaches will make sure you have a version that challenges you but is safe and doable.
6. Why should I sign up?
You’ll push yourself more than you thought possible.
It’s one of the most fun community events of the year.
You’ll track your progress year after year.
It’s a chance to set goals, test your fitness, and celebrate with friends.
See you in the open!!
