Bangkok Throwdown Qualifier 2025
About This Competition
Welcome to the Bangkok Throwdown 2025 Qualifier!
This year the qualifiers will be for Individual Divisions only. We are looking for the fittest individual in the region to compete at the Final in November 28-29-30th.
There will be 3 workouts for this qualifier, released on July 8th, and athletes will have until July 13th to complete and submit them.
TEAMS - There will be no qualifers, but with divsions minimum requirement that the athletes must be able to perform. Registration will start July 29th along with the individual invitations.
To be eligible for qualification, you must attach a video. At the conclusion of the qualifiers, there will be a video review period to validate scores. Please review the video submission guidelines.
After scores are validated, Invitations will be sent to the emails registered through competitioncorner. Failure to respond to those emails will result in forfeit of your spot.
There will be no guaranteed substitutions.
Bangkok Throwdown reserves the right to 10 sponsors invites, and those who just miss out will be considered, although not guaranteed, for filling vacated spots.

Workouts
In a running clock of 24:00,
At 0:00 - 6:00 1 rep max Clean for load
**athlete must lift the barbell off the ground before the 6:00 mark for that attempt to count if succeded.**
- All movements must meet the latest official standards as outlined in the CrossFit Games qualifiers. Athletes are responsible for knowing and executing each standard precisely.
- Athlete must declare each weight prior to lifting
- Any style of the clean is allowed.
- Athlete may NOT received any assistance to load and unload the barbell.
- Smallest plate weight is 0.5kg. The smaller plates must be on the outside.
- Lbs conversion is 1kg = 2.2 lbs.
- Collars are required for all lifts.
- In the case of tiebreak, the reps in 1B will break the tie.
In a running clock of 24:00,
At 6:00 - 12:00, find an unbroken toes to bar for highest reps, 2 attempts only.
**Any reps beyond the 12:00 mark, will not count.**
- All movements must meet the latest official standards as outlined in the CrossFit Games qualifiers. Athletes are responsible for knowing and executing each standard precisely.
- Max attempts allowed is 2.
- Submit the higher reps of the 2 attempts, NOT TOTAL.
- Any style of toes to bar is allowed as long as the feet touch the bar at the same time, and the feet get behind the gymnastics rig every rep.
- In the case of a tie, time in 1C will break the tie.
In a running clock of 24:00,
At 12:00 - 24:00, 3,000/2,700m Row for time.
**athlete must submit a clear screen recording of the result in the video. Fail to do so will incure a 15% penalty**
- All movements must meet the latest official standards as outlined in the CrossFit Games qualifiers. Athletes are responsible for knowing and executing each standard precisely.
- Male will row 3000m. Female will row 2700m.
- In the case of time capped, athlete will submit the distance rowed as completed reps.
Distance rowed = 3000/2700m - meters left on the monitor.
- Monitor must be set to Single Distance counting down prior to the 12:00.
- Athlete may receive assistance to set the monitor.
- Athlete must be seated with hands off the handle until the start time.
For Time, capped 17:00
Individual Male
10 wallwalks
20 dual DB box step over 24”, 60lbs
30 strict handstand push up
40 dual DB box step over 20”, same DBs
50m handstand walk, at 5m unbroken distance
60m dual DB suitcase walking lunges, at 5m unbroken distance, same DBs
**athlete must put the DBs back on the box to signal the completion of the workout. Fail to do so will incure a 15% penalty**
Individual Female
10 wallwalks
15 dual DB box step over 24”, 40lbs
25 strict handstand push up
35 dual DB box step over 20”, same DBs
45m handstand walk, at 5m unbroken distance
55m dual DB suitcase walking lunges, at 5m unbroken distance, same DBs
**athlete must put the DBs back on the box to signal the completion of the workout. Fail to do so will incure a 15% penalty**
- All movements must meet the latest official standards as outlined in the CrossFit Games qualifiers. Athletes are responsible for knowing and executing each standard precisely.
- Strict handstand push ups must use a tapeline of 30" wide and 2" tape measured from the wall 10" including the tape.
- Wallwalk may use the same 10" end line with 60"/55" start line following the same standards as the CrossFit OPEN.
- Dumbell weights are equivalent to 60/40 lb = 27.5/17.5 kg or above.
- Athlete may carry the DBs anyhow during the step overs.
- Athlete may NOT touch the box with any part of the leg or using assistance.
- Dumbbells also may NOT touch the box.
- Both handstand walk and walking lunges will be unbroken between the 5m tape lines.
For Time, capped 9:00
9-7-5,
ring muscle ups
squat snatches 61/43kg
**Athlete must come accross the tape line behind the barbell to signal the completion of the workout. Failed to do so will incur a 15% penalty**

- Athlete must show the measurements and weights prior to the workout.
- Without showing full lockout and controlled support at the top of the muscle up will be a no rep.
- Without showing full lockout and controlled support at the top of the snatch will be a no rep.
