About This Competition
THE ROAD TO THE MAGIC CITY STARTS HERE
The Magic City Games Qualifier is the first step on the road to Birmingham’s premier fitness event that celebrates you.
In 2026, athletes from across the nation will take on the online qualifier to earn their spot at the Magic City Games Championship — a two-day, in-person competition unlike anything else in the Southeast.
The qualifier is built for anyone ready to push, prove, and perform.
Each workout is designed to challenge the everyday athlete while holding to the standard that defines the Games.

💪 Format: Two weeks | Multiple scored events
📩 Invites Sent: Late February 2026
Top athletes and teams will advance to the 2026 Magic City Games Championship, held in Birmingham, Alabama July 18-19, 2026.

The Magic City Games is Birmingham’s premier two-day fitness competition for individuals and two-person teams.
Our event stands apart for its blend of competition and culture — celebrating both athletic grit and Southern hospitality.

- Unique off-site events and outdoor elements
- Custom athlete jerseys and premium experience design
- A community-driven atmosphere that feels like family and performs like a semifinal
