About This Competition

Join Thrive Strength & Training for Wod Wars, a functional fitness competition. This two person team comp (MM/FF) will be a challenging yet fun day. 

Besides RX and scaled division we will also be offering a foundations/youth division for anyone 10 years to 99 with several scaling options available. We can’t wait to compete with you!

For Time:

10 Rounds - YGIG

10 Burpee Box Get-Over 48/40

100M Run

While one partner works the other partner, preforms a double db suitcase hold 50s/35s

 

Scaled:

8 Rounds

10 Burpee Box Get-Overs 30/24

Suitcase Hold 40s/25s

 

Foundations/Youth:

8 Rounds

10 No Push-Up Burpee Box Get-Overs 24/20

100m Run

Suitcase Hold 25s/15s

8 mins to establish 1RM Clean

Partners will share an 8:00 clock to establish a 1RM clean. The clean may be power or squat.

Score will be the total pounds lifted between both athletes combine.

6min AMRAP Power Cleans

After the 8:00 clock is up from Part 1, athletes will have 2:00 to load their own bar to 50% of their 1RM that they just completed. Each athlete will receive 3:00 to complete as many reps as possible of power cleans - Partner A works for 3:00 then partner B works for 3:00.

Score will be the total number of power cleans lifted between both athletes.

Scaled and Foundations/Youth - No change.

4min Amrap

Sandbag over target

RX: 150/100
Scaled: 100/50
Foundations/Youth 30/20

This simple yet spicy floater will have athletes passing a sandbag over a target to each other for a total of 4:00.
This you go - I go style event will get heart rates pumping as the final score of this challenge will be the total number of sandbag passes between athletes.

This Event will be announced the day of the Comp 🤐
