Get ready for a full day of fitness at the Bearwalden Winter Trials — a high-energy, community-driven CrossFit competition designed to test strength, skill, and grit in the heart of winter. This event is open to athletes of all levels, offering a challenging and enjoyable competition environment for everyone from seasoned competitors to first-time racers.
Athletes will take on multiple scored events, featuring a balanced mix of strength, endurance, gymnastics, and classic CrossFit-style workouts. Expect well-designed tests, clear standards, and a smooth event flow supported by experienced judges and staff.

Flow
Both athletes stand next to their Dumbbells facing towards the machines. At 3-2-1 GO both athletes proceed to complete their calories on their machine. One athlete on the rower, One athlete on the Bikeerg.
After both athletes have complete thei calories then they proceed to their dumbbells and complete their reps of Hang Snatches being synchronied every rep.
Once all reps have been completed they switch machines and then complete their following calories again.
After that they then proceed to go to their dummbells again and complete their reps of goblet Squats.
Repeat for a total of 3 rounds

Athletes start at their dumbbells and at 3-2-1 Go they pick up their dumbbells and do unbroken walking lunges until they complete a full unbroken length of lunges. Once 6 lengths have been complete athletes go to their designated pull up bars and perform their repetitions of toes to bar. Once that has been completed then they'll go back to their lunges and perform 4 lengths. Once 4 lengths have been completed then they'll go and perform their reps of pull ups. Once their pull ups have been completed then athletes will finish with 2 lengrhs of lunges. Score is the time taken for the workout or number of reps completed.

Movement Standards:
Front Squat
Barbell Starts from the floor and Cleans the bar into their Front Rack.
For a squat to count they must bring their Hip Crease Below their Knee or Squat down to a designated MedBall
Must then extend with their hips at the top of the movement.
Athlete May squat Clean their first Front Squat
Bar must not touch the floor between reps.
Burpee Box Jump Over
Start at one side of the box, chest and thighs must touch the floor at the bottom of each rep
Return to both feet with hands off the floor before jumping. A two foot take off MUST be used. A two foot landing is not required.
Only feet may come in contact with the Box. Any other part of your body will result in a NO Rep.
No requirement for hip or Knee Extension
Rep is credited when feet land on the opposite side of the box
Clean And Jerk
Barbell Must Start from the floor each rep
Barbell Must be lifted to the shoulders, then locked out overhead. Any style of Clean (Apart from hang Cleans) are premitted
Rep is credited when Hips, Knees and Arms are extended, the Feet Are in line, the bar is in the middle of the body when viewed from the side
