Workouts

💥 Clean & Jerk AMRAP

2:00 Time Cap | 4 Athletes per Heat | Max Reps

It’s you versus the barbell in this fast-paced AMRAP. Athletes will have 2 minutes to complete as many clean & jerks as possible, using traditional technique: barbell goes from ground to shoulder, then shoulder to overhead. Any style of clean (power or squat) and any style of jerk (push or split) is allowed—as long as you show control at the top.

Weights by Division:

🧑‍🌾 Farmer
 • Male: 155 lb
 • Female: 105 lb

🤠 Ranch Hand
 • Male: 115 lb
 • Female: 85 lb

Each athlete will have their own pre-loaded barbell and designated lane. Score is total successful reps completed in the time cap. Be smooth, be fast, and don’t waste a lift!

Farmyard Frenzy
Time Cap: 3:00
Reset Between Heats: 1:00
Athletes Per Heat: 3–4

This chipper-style sprint is short, intense, and all about keeping the engine running. Athletes will move quickly through four movements that challenge stamina, coordination, and full-body strength—finishing with an all-out sprint.

Workout Flow:

15 Sandbag Squats
10 Burpees Over Hay Bale
5 Sandbag Over Shoulder
Sprint to Finish

Division Weights:

Farmer – Male: 150 lb / Female: 100 lb
Ranch Hand – Male: 100 lb / Female: 50 lb

Sandbags start on the ground and stay in the same spot the entire workout. Squat it, get your burpees done, get those sandbags over your shoulder - and then the final sprint brings the heat—get across that line fast!

No room for error here. This is fast and furious!

Sandbag Up & Over
Time Cap: 2:00
Format: AMRAP (As Many Reps As Possible)

This one’s a full-body barn burner.

Athletes will move their sandbag from the ground to the top of a stacked hay bale wall (3 bales high), shove it to the far side, and then climb over the hay bales themselves before starting again. It’s about strength, coordination, and keeping your foot on the gas.

Movement Standards:

Start each rep with the sandbag on the ground.
Move the bag onto the hay bales, push it over to the opposite side.
Then, you must climb over the hay bales yourself before starting the next rep.
Each full sequence (bag over + you over) = 1 rep.

Weights by Division:

Farmer Male: 150 lb
Farmer Female: 100 lb
Ranch Hand Male: 100 lb
Ranch Hand Female: 50 lb
Heats: Minimum 3 athletes at a time.

🛞 Tire Flip

It’s you versus the tire. In this classic test of raw power and determination, athletes will have 1:30 to flip a heavy-duty tire as many times as possible down the lane.

Format: 1:30 AMRAP (As Many Reps As Possible)
Scoring: Total number of successful flips
Division Notes: Weight and size of the tire will differ between Farmer and Ranch Hand divisions
Surface: Outdoor gravel lane

Explosive strength, coordination, and drive will set you apart in this event. Just you, the tire, and the clock.

🚜 Tractor Pull

We’re kicking things off with straight-up horsepower.

Athletes will drag a tractor 100 feet down a gravel lane—against the clock. You’ve got 1:00 to get it done. Fastest time wins.

Division weights: Actual tractor pulls with varying resistance per division
Surface: Gravel
Time Cap: 1:00
Scoring: Fastest time to complete the pull (distance recorded if not completed)

This one’s raw, simple, and heavier than it looks. Dig in and move that machine.
