About This Competition

The Magic City Games (formerly the 205 Throwdown) is Birmingham, Alabama's premier two-day fitness competition for individuals and two-person teams. Our competition stands out for delivering a truly elite experience, featuring unique offsite events, outdoor biking, custom jerseys, and more.

In 2025, we'll offer the following divisions:

Individual (You Must Qualify)

RX Male

Intermediate Male

Intermediate Female 

 

Teams of 2 (No Qualifer)

RX (M/M, F/F)

Masters (M/M, F/F) *

Intermediate (M/M, F/F)

* Masters: All athletes must be at least 35 years of age by July 19, 2025, and the combined age of both teammates must be at least 75.
