About This Competition

🔥 What is the Peak Throwdown Special? 🔥
The Peak Throwdown Special is a one-day team competition for mixed teams (1 female 👩 + 1 male 👨).

It’s an internal event for members of CrossFit Peak Vitality 💪 and a few invited guests 🎟️, created to test how a mixed-team format could work for future Peak Throwdown competitions.

Expect the same high energy ⚡, creative workouts 🏋️, and community spirit ❤️ – all packed into one action-filled day.

Whether you’re a seasoned duo 🔁 or teaming up for the first time 🎯, this is your chance to throw down, test your teamwork 🤝, and help shape what’s next for the Throwdown series.

Here are the divisions:

RX - mixed (8 teams)

Intermediate - mixed (8 teams)

RX_Masters 75+ - mixed (4 teams)

INT_Masters 75+ - mixed (4 teams)

Masters athletes must be 35 years of age or older on the day of the competition, and the combined age of both team members must be at least 75 years or older

📅 Important Dates

  • Athlete, Judge & Volunteer Registration Opens: 15.08, 9:00
  • Athlete Registration Closes: 26.09 (or earlier if spots fill up)

Note: Athlete sign-up is based on first come, first serve. Any remaining spots after the deadline may be filled by invited athletes.

Division fairness: Registrations will be reviewed to ensure athletes are competing in the correct division. For example, if you have previously competed as an RX athlete, you may not register for the Intermediate category. If this occurs, your team’s registration will be cancelled.

Clean: 100 kg / 70 kg
Shoulder to Overhead: 70 kg / 50 kg
Dumbbell: up to 32.5 kg / 22.5 kg
