Alaska Invitational Online Leaderboard 2026
About This Competition
We’re excited to announce the 2026 Alaska Invitational Leaderboard! This allows us to see where we stack up in the state with the unity of the Open workouts. Please note some changes to the 2026 season!
We've simplified things. This year, we’ll be using the CrossFit Open to submit scores for overall state ranking. This ONLINE platform will serve to have us award the top athletes with ALL proceeds from the registrations (minus Credit card and Competition Corner Fees) be added to the prize purse. The in-person Invitational is pending at the moment with there being big life events and changes in the community. But we wanted a way to still remain unified through Open season. Let's have fun on the leaderboard together. With unity no matter the path ahead.
How Do I Qualify for the Alaska Invitational Leaderboard?
To qualify for the 2025 Alaska Invitational Leaderboard, athletes must submit Open scores to Competition Corner with the same due-dates as the CrossFit Open (per workout). (We highly recommend also submitting to CrossFitGames.com). A new option this year for non-affiliates to have more access & inclusion. This competition is intended for Alaskan athletes only. Since travel is a big way we survive the dark winters here, please consider the below options if getting an Open workout in during travel.
Option 1: Athletes can complete workouts at a validly licensed CrossFit affiliate gym in good standing and recieve validation from the affiliate manager (being a valid score on CrossFitGames.com); or
Option 2: Upload a working YouTube link of your workout to the CrossFit Games website. (For use if workout not completed at a CrossFit Affiliated gym); or
Option 3: Send us a link to a video of your workout (and your judge must have completed the 2026 CrossFit Judges course). Your score will not be verified until a video link is recieved. Along with the name of your judge we can also verify. (For use if workout not completed at a CrossFit Affiliated gym).
**Option(s) 2 & 3 are ways of non-affiliates to still partake in the online leaderboard & prizes.
The results from the 3 tests will determine placement. The top Males and Females will split the proceeds from registrations with different percentages allocated to each podium tier 1st, 2nd & 3rd. We hope to also have some surprise wildcard prizes on the way too! (If any affiliates would like to donate swag or items for wildcard prizes, let us know!). We'd love to throw lots of things at the athletes looking to partake in this leaderboard.
-Podium prize amounts will be determined based on registration numbers and will be announced. WIth more registraions, we can also have the ability to give prizes for event wins. We are hoping to secure some sponsors to have gifts and swag outside of monetary value.
Remaining for 2026** Athletes have the ability to mix & match what division they complete the Open workouts. (Example 26.1 can be done RX & 26.2 & 26.3 can be completed Scaled). We urge you to attack an Rx workout if you can! This is how we improve. The open is intended for goal setting ahead into the year. Challenge yourself and give yourself the chace to experience the Open magic! (A new feat that only happened because you challenged yourself in a workout of this nature and platform).

Banned List
For those who are unaware- we follow the same rules as CrossFit.com with regards to drug use. Please refer to this resource to see if what you are taking could be on the banned list. https://games.crossfit.com/drug-policy.
We are asking for your familiarity with this resource (as it is everchanging). There is a 'therapeutic use exemption form" for those who require certain meds with doctor oversight. If you are intentionally taking something for sports enhancement, we kindly request you do not sign-up for this online event; OR email us and let us know so that we can quietly DQ you to create a fair podium at the end of it all.
As always, feel free to reach out with any questions. Let’s crush the qualifiers and get ready for an epic 2026 Alaska Invitational Leaderboard!
