About This Competition

Sleven is bringing you a weightlifting showdown like no other—three unique events packed into just one hour on Saturday 25th October. This isn’t your standard lifting comp: every event comes with a twist to keep it fun, fast, and unforgettable. And the best part? No gymnastics—just pure lifting power. 💥

Open to everyone—members, non-members, seasoned lifters, and first-timers ready to sling some tin.

PART A: LIFT OFF


1RM Snatch (6 min for Partner 1 to establish a 1RM Snatch)

3 min rest/transition

1RM Clean & Jerk (6 min for Partner 2 to establish a 1RM Clean & Jerk)


PART B: ECHO BIKE & BACK SQUATS

Alternating Partners 2:00 on / 2:00 Rest x 2 sets


Buy-In each round: Echo Bike Calories*

In the remaining time:

MAX back squats @ bodyweight %*



Weights:

RX: 125% of bodyweight

Int: 100% of bodyweight


Calories:

RX: 20/16

Int: 16/12


PART C: DEATH BY EMOM 16'


Buy in each min: both partners complete 3 lateral bar over burpees

  • then complete:

Min 1 - 1 Thruster

Min 2 - 2 Thrusters

Min 3 - 3 Thursters*


*continue to add 1 rep each minute until failure
