The MQC Games 2025
About This Competition
Join us on Saturday 27th September 2025 for a same sex pairs competition at Mudeford Quay CrossFit, a CrossFit box on the South Coast. Each pair will take part in 4 workouts with the top 3 teams winning prizes!
Accessible to all abilities, this pairs event will feature a mix of fast-paced functional fitness workouts using equipment and movements you’re familiar with.
Refreshments, energy drinks and snacks will be available on the day.
Workouts and movement standards will be announced in the week leading up to the competition via Instagram/Facebook.

As always this is an all-inclusive event. Some RX movements may be programmed and at least one of your team may need to complete this movement, however, we will also programme scaled options with additional reps as an alternative for those that need it.
Some examples of required standards, these specific movements may/may not feature on the day and remember, movements can be scaled for those that don't have the skills:
Ground to Overhead - 60/40kg
Thrusters - 50/35kg
Deadlift - 100/70kg
Ring/Bar Muscle-ups
Pull-ups
Toes to bar
Rope Climbs

Workout 2 – Pairs
Every 2:00 x 6 Rounds (alternating)
Rounds 1, 3, 5 (Athlete 1):
• 12/10 Calories Row
• 8 Burpees over the rower
• Max Power Snatches (50/35 kg) in remaining time
Rounds 2, 4, 6 (Athlete 2):
• 12/10 Calories Row
• 8 Burpees over the rower
• Max Cleans (50/35 kg) in remaining time
Sprint the row, smash the burpees, earn your barbell reps. Engine + power on repeat!
