About This Competition

CrossFit 4055 brings you “Fittest in the Yard”

This year we are excited to bring you two amazing fitness competitions on the same day.

Fittest in the Yard - Same Sex Pairs Competition. (2) with (MM) and (FF) teams.

AND

Fittest in the Yard - Teams Competition, comprising 4 athletes (MMFF).  This event is a test of functional fitness, teamwork and strategy with 4 challenging workouts that will be released approx. 6 weeks out from the event.

TIMES:
Fittest in the Yard - Teams Event SCALED / OPEN : 7am-12pm                                                            Fittest in the Yard Pairs Event INT / RX : 12pm – 7pm

These are both in-person competitions that sell out every year, so its important you are ready to register from Midday 11 May 2025 to avoid disappointment.

FITY PAIRS EVENT - Fittest in the Yard awards prizes for those that finish in the First 5 places in both RX and Intermediate Divisions. 

FITY TEAMS EVENT - has 2 divisions Open and Scaled and is designed to be a test of functional fitness, teamwork and strategy with 4 challenging workouts that will be released approx. 6 weeks out from the event.  This event has limited spaces available.

We recommend contacting our staff, if you have any questions or concerns prior to finalising your transaction. Thank you for your understanding and continued support of the Fittest in the Yard events.

REFUND POLICY:

Please be advised that all ticket sales are non-refundable. Once a ticket is purchased, it cannot be refunded for any reason, including but not limited to: a scheduling conflict, personal circumstances or illness we are unable to accommodate requests for refunds or ticket exchanges. We appreciate your understanding in this matter. Please make sure to carefully review your registration and the event details prior to completing your purchase.

Event Postponement: In the unlikely event that Fittest in the Yard is postponed, we will not be able to offer refunds immediately and all entries will be valid on the new proposed date.

We will make all reasonable efforts to communicate any changes to the event and provide relevant updates through our official channels.

Team Member Changes: If you are unable to attend, an athlete can be replaced with another athlete.  To facilitate this please email FITY event organisers. info@crossfit4055.com.au

PART A - CAP 7min 

RX

3 x DT 60/45kg (tie breaker)

2 x DT 70/50kg

1 x DT 80/55kg

INT

3 x DT 50/35kg (tie breaker)

2 x DT 60/40kg

1 x DT 70/45kg

One round of DT consists of:

12 x Deadlifts / 9 x Hang Cleans / 6 x Shoulder to Overhead

Share movements as you like

PART A - CAP 7min 

OPEN/ADVANCED

3 x DT 60/45kg

One round of DT consists of:

12 x Deadlifts / 9 x Hang Cleans / 6 x Shoulder to Overhead

Share movements as you like

FLOW:

On 3.2.1.GO…..athletes will move forward to the bar and complete 3 rounds of DT (12 deadlifts, 9 Hang Cleans, 6 Shoulder to overhead).  

Tie breaker at end of round 3

Once this round is completed athletes will move the bar forward adding weight then complete 2 rounds of DT.

Once completed athletes will then move the bar forward adding weight and complete 1 round of DT. 

Teams - you can not move onto the next round until both pairs have completed the movements. 

Athlete’s will have 7 mins to complete Part A. If athletes do not complete the workout within the 7 min’s they will receive a capped score and will then move forward to complete PART B.

FLOW:

Athlete 1 will start on the Bike and Athlete 2 will start on the Rower both with their hands behind your back.

On 3.2.1.GO….., both athletes will commence the workout completing each movement in order of their ladder.

Athletes will complete this workout in opposite directions meeting in the middle for synchronised log facing burpees before crossing over and completing the other movements of their ladder. 

This event is for time.  Your score is calculated by adding the 2 athletes times together.  This allows for athletes to push hard once the burpees are completed to obtain the fastest combined time.  Both athletes must complete the workout to obtain a time. If one or both athletes do not finish the workout then the score will be a capped score.

All movements other than the Synchronised Log Facing Burpees can be shared as you like.

FLOW:

Athletes will work in mixed sex pairs. One pair will start on the Bike and the other pair will start on the Rower.  An athlete from each pair will start on a machine with their hands behind your back. 

On 3.2.1.GO….., athletes will commence the workout completing each movement in order of their ladder. Athletes may share movements as they please.

Athletes will complete this workout in opposite directions meeting in the middle for synchronised log facing burpees before crossing over and completing the remaining movements of their ladder. 

This event is for time.  The score is calculated by adding each pairs time together.  This allows for athletes to push hard once the burpees are completed to obtain the fastest combined time.  Both pairs must complete the workout to obtain a time.  If one or both pairs do not finish the workout score will be a capped score. FLOW:

Athletes will commence the workout standing under the rig.

On 3.2.1.GO….., Athletes will commence 20 synchronised Worm Thrusters. 

Once the 20 Worm Thrusters are completed, athletes will then complete 40 Chest to Bar Pull Ups (shared). (tie breaker time)

Athletes will then complete another 20 Worm Thrusters.  Once completed athletes will then complete 30 Toes 2 Bar (shared).

Athletes will again complete 20 Worm Thrusters before finishing with 20 Bar Muscle Ups (shared).  

INT

Athletes will complete worm squats

Pulls Ups / Toes to Bar / Chest to Bar

Score is time taken to complete the workout.

20 x WORM Thrusters (synchronised ) then 40 x Pullups

40 x Pullups then 20 x WORM Thrusters (synchronised )

20 x WORM Thrusters (synchronised ) then 30 x Toes to Bar

30 x Toes 2 Bar then 20 x WORM Thrusters (synchronised )

Round 3

20 x WORM Thrusters (synchronised ) then 20 x Chest to Bar

20 x Chest to Bar then 20 x WORM Thrusters (synchronised )

FLOW:

Athletes will work as mixed pairs.  MF and MF.  The workout commences with all athletes standing under the rig.

ROUND 1

All athletes are to commence the workout standing under the rig.

On 3.2.1.GO….., One pair of athletes will move to the worm and commence 20 synchronised Worm Thrusters the other pair will commence 40 pullups once both movements are completed the pairs will swap and complete their respective movements.

Once both pairs have completed their round 1 movements, they may commence Round 2. (tie breaker time)

ROUND 2

The athletes who just completed the pull ups will now move back to the worm and the second pair will complete 30 Toes to Bar.  Once both movements are completed the pairs will swap again and complete their respective movements.

Once both pairs have completed round 2 movements, they may commence Round 3.

ROUND 3

The athletes who just completed the Toes to Bar will move back to the worm and the second pair will complete 20 Chest to Bar pull ups.  Once both movements are completed the pairs will swap again and complete their respective movements to finish the workout.

Pull Ups Chest to Bar and Toes to Bar can be shared as you like between athletes.  

SCORE is time taken to complete the workout. If capped score will be total reps completed.

ROUND 1

20 x WORM Squats (synchronised) then 80 x Ring Rows 

80 x Ring Rows then 20 x WORM Squats (synchronised)

Tie Breaker TIme 

ROUND 2

20 x WORM Squats (synchronised) then 60 x Knee Raises

60 x Knee Raises then 20 x WORM Squats (synchronised)

ROUND 3

20 x WORM Squats (synchronised) then 40 x Pull Ups

20 x Pull Ups then 20 x WORM Squats (synchronised)

FLOW

ROUND 1

All athletes are to commence the working standing under the rig.

On 3.2.1.GO….., One pair of athletes will move to the worm and commence 20 synchronised Worm Squats the other pair will commence 80 Ring Rows once both movements are completed the pairs will swap and complete their respective movements.

Once both pairs have completed round 1 movements, they may commence Round 2.

ROUND 2

The athletes who just completed the ring rows will now move back to the worm and the second pair will complete 60 Knee Raises.  Once both movements are completed the pairs will swap again and complete their respective movements.

Once both pairs have completed round 2 movements, they may commence Round 3.

ROUND 3

The athletes who just completed the knee raises will move back to the worm and the second pair will complete 20 Pull Ups.  Once both movements are completed the pairs will swap again and complete their respective movements to finish the workout.

SQUATS – must be synchronised

RINGS ROWS, PULL UPS & KNEE RAISES can be shared as you like between athletes.
