About This Competition

Get ready for a high-energy day of fitness, fun and community as athletes from across the region come together to compete in the Fitlife Throwdown. A one day, functional fitness event held in Wellington, New Zealand.​

The Fitlife Throwdown is a one day, same sex pairs event with two divisions, 'Novice' ideal for those newer to competing or still building confidence and 'Open' for athletes with solid training experience who want to push themselves

Our event is designed for everyday athletes who train hard, love functional fitness, and want to throw down in a high-energy, community-driven environment. Whether you're stepping into your first comp or looking for your next challenge, this event is for you!

PLEASE NOTE:

  • All athletes will be sent an athlete pack with event details in November.
  • Heat times will be available the week of the competition (these are subject to change based on any team changes or withdraws).
  • Workouts will be released in the weeks leading up to the event, however not all workouts will be released before the competition day.

 

REFUND POLICY

By making payment, the team acknowledge their entry fee is non-refundable regardless of the circumstances. Any changes or transfers requested by a competitor and agreed on by The Fitlife Throwdown organisers/staff/employees will result in the following fees:

  • Prior to 1st October: Transfer of entry to another team at a cost of $25
  • 1st - 31st October : Transfer of entry to another team at a cost of $75
  • 1st - 7th November: Transfer of entry to another team at a cost of $125
  • 7th November: No transfers will be accepted!

*Open can do Hanging Knee Raises instead of pull ups, however they will score below anyone who completes even one rep of the pull up standard. They cannot change between the two movements.
