About This Competition

Push for Purpose hosted by - CrossFit 4720 & Sunflower Queen entrant Sophie McKenzie fundraising for Emerald Rotary in support of the Royal Flying Doctors Service. 

Same sex partners, 3 workouts, 2 divisions - Scaled and RX, BBQ, raffles, best dressed team. Dress up with your partner- best dressed prizes on the day!

Movement standards are as follows. On some of the higher-skilled movements I have put (1 person), this means only 1 person in your team will need to have that movement. Scaled division can be modified slightly if needed. 

Division Standards:

Scaled 

Dumbbells - 15/10kg 

Barbell - 35/25kg 

Partial Wall Walks 

Single Skips 

Knee Raises 

Pullups / Ring Rows (1 person)

 

RX 

Dumbbells - 22.5/15kg 

Barbells 52.5/35kg 

Wall Walks

Double Unders (1 person)

Toes to Bar (1 person)

Bar Muscle ups (1 person)

Workout 2 For Time 16min TIME CAP 

RX

Buy in: 80/64 Bike Cals 

Then Complete 2 Rounds of:

6 Wall Walks 

20 Dual DB Front squats 

20 Toes to Bar 

20 Single DB Overhead Lunges 

Buy out: 10 Bar Muscle ups 

Dumbbells: 22.5/15kg 

 

Scaled:

Buy in: 60/45 Bike Cals 

Then Complete 2 Rounds of:

6 Wall Walks ( 30inches from wall)

20 Dual DB Front squats 

20 Hanging Knee Raises 

20 Single DB Overhead Lunges 

Buy out: 15 Pullups or 30 Ring Rows 

Dumbbells: 15/10kg 

 

2 Rounds For Time- You go, I go

RX: 22.5/15kg 

Scaled: 15/10kg 

 

3,2,1 GO - Partner 1 will complete 15 Box Jump overs, 15 DB snatches, 12 Box Jump overs, 12 DB snatches, 9 and 9. Partner 2 will then complete 9 Box Jump overs, 9 DB snatches, 12 + 12, 15 + 15. Once partner 2 is complete partner 1 goes again. 

 

Workout 1 - 3 Rounds 

3mins on 1 min rest 

12 Synchro Clean and Jerks 

12 Synchro Lateral Burpees over the Bar 

In remaining time max Double Unders and Row Cals 

 

RX: 52.5/35kg 

Scaled: 35/25kg, Single Skips 

 

3,2,1 GO - Both athletes will pick up the bar and complete 12 synchro clean and jerks, they will then move to 12 synchro lateral burpees over the bar. In the remaining time one athlete will commence row cals and one athlete will commence doubel unders/single skips until the 3mins is up. You will both rest 1 min and repeat for 3 total rounds. Score = total number of double unders and row cals completed.
