Thanksgiving Throwdown 2025
About This Competition
On, Saturday, November 15th, our annual CrossFit 808 member's only partner (male+male or female+female) competition is back! We have two divisions this year: RX and Scaled (scaled teams can request additional modifications to workouts case by case).
Each team will complete 1 workout that consists of 4 mini workouts. See list of movements needed for RX or Scaled on our Instagram page.
We plan to run heats every hour, starting at 8:00am. If you need to request a specific time, please email Coach Elyse (elyse@808crossfit.com).
*No refunds, but can substitute partner if needed.

Designate one athlete per lift, athletes will have 4-minutes each to find a 1 rep max in either:
Clean
Deadlift
Time Cap: 8 Minutes
10:00-21:00 on the clock:
3 Rounds for Calories:
1 Minute Echo Bike for Calories
1 Minute for 10 Synchro Burpee Box Jump Overs* (20”/24; Masters/Scaled 20” step overs)
1 Minute Row for Calories
1 Minute REST
This workout has two scores. Score 1 (EVENT 2A) is total Row Calories. Score 2 (EVENT 2B) is total Bike Calories. Partition the Bike and Rower however you like. Team must complete 10 reps of BBJO before the end of the minute to proceed to next round, even if it bleeds into the Rowing minute.
Masters and Scaled teams use 20" box and can step over.

With only one person working at a time, partition reps however you like, complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 12-minutes, of:
90 Double-unders (Masters: 60 DU; Scaled: Single-unders)
15 Hang Squat Snatches (RX: 65/95 lbs; Masters: 55/75 lbs; Scaled: 45/65 lbs)
30 Handstand Push-ups (while partner holds HS; Masters/Scaled: hand release push-ups while partner holds plank on hands)
90 Double-unders (Masters: 60 DU; Scaled: Single-unders)
15 Hang Squat Snatches (RX: 65/95 lbs; Masters: 55/75 lbs; Scaled: 45/65 lbs)
30 Toes-to-Bar (while partner hangs, Masters: Same; Scaled: Hanging Knee Raises while partner hangs)
90 Double-unders (Masters: 60 DU; Scaled: Single-unders)
15 Hang Squat Snatches (RX: 65/95 lbs; Masters: 55/75 lbs; Scaled: 45/65 lbs)
30 Bar Muscle-ups (Masters: Chest to Bar Pull-ups; Scaled: Ring Rows)
