About This Competition

Uniting Ladies of Power & Queens of Oly!

  • Online Women's Team of 5 Powerlifting & Oly Lifting Event
  • Monday October 27th to Sunday November 2nd (1 week)
  • Snatch, Clean & Jerk, Back Squat, Bench Press, Deadlift & Lifting Complexes

Online Event Details
Find 5 ladies that specialize in each lift to bring your best team forward! 

  • Team members can be from different gyms, cities, countries!
  • Lifters cannot be in more than 1 team. 
  • All team members have 1 week to complete a 1 Rep Max and a fun complex of their allocated lift.  
  • 1RM and Complex announcements will be made at 12pm CDT on Sunday Oct 26th October. 
  • Lifters 1RM and complex can be completed on different days but MUST be completed within the 1 week deadline.
  • Scores need to be submitted by each individual lifter by 10pm CDT on Sunday 2nd November. 

1RM Lifts & Complexes

  • Athlete 1 = 1RM Snatch + Snatch Complex
  • Athlete 2 = 1RM Clean & Jerk + C&J Complex
  • Athlete 3 = 1RM Back Squat + Squat Complex
  • Athlete 4 = 1RM Bench Press + Bench Press Complex
  • Athlete 5 = 1RM Deadlift + Deadlift Complex

*There are movement standards applied to 1RM’s and complexes that will be stated during announcements. 

*Videos will be requested from only the top teams each week but we highly suggest you film everything regardless of placement!!

*All lifts will be entered in pounds using Sinclair/Wilks scoring to make a super total!

*Body weight in pounds must be recorded in video as well because this is required for sinclair/wilks calculations. 

*No refunds provided once a team has entered.

Strong Lift

 

  • Athlete begins standing behind the barbell with the bar on the ground.
  • Athlete must snatch the bar up in one motion with a power or squat snatch being permitted.
  • Athlete must stand to full extension of knees, hips and elbows, with feet inline.
  • Athlete must show control of the barbell before dropping the bar back in front of the body.
  • Press outs and unlocking of the elbow are allowed to reach full lockout.
  • Knees cannot touch the floor at any point during the lift

Max Load Snatch Complex:

1 Snatch Balance + 2 Overhead Squats

In your video submission, you must say the Password
Lift Heavy

  • Athlete begins standing behind the barbell with the bar on the rack. Athlete then takes the barbell into a back rack position.
  • Athlete must complete the snatch balance; a dip drive and drop into a full depth squat, and stand up with the barbell overhead to complete the lift. Then immediately into the overhead squats, without re-racking or dropping the barbell.
  • The Athlete must stand to full extension of knees, hips and elbows, with feet inline before the next repetition of the complex. 
  • The athlete must Keep the barbell locked out overhead and complete the OHS. This is as one full complex. Once the barbell locks out overhead from the Snatch Balance, it stays there until the full complex is done.
  • The athlete must perform the 2 overhead squats where they squat down to below parallel and then stand up to full extension of knees, hips and elbows of both reps.
  • Athlete must show control of the barbell before dropping or lowering the barbell. Press outs and unlocking of the elbow is allowed to reach full lockout.
  • Knees cannot not touch the floor at any point during the lift.

Power Move

 

  • Athlete begins standing behind the barbell with the bar on the ground.
  • Athlete must clean the bar up in one motion with a power or squat clean being permitted.
  • Athlete must stand to full extension of knees and hips and come to a complete stop between the Clean & Jerk movements. Thrusters are not allowed during any portion of the Clean & Jerk.
  • Athlete must jerk the barbell into an overhead position, bringing the feet inline and showing full extension of knees, hips and elbows, plus control of the barbell before dropping the bar back in front of the body.
  • Push Press, Push Jerk, Squat Jerk or Split Jerk the barbell overhead.
  • Press outs and unlocking of the elbow are allowed to reach full lockout.
  • Knees cannot not touch the floor and elbows cannot touch the knees at any point during the lift.

Max Load Clean & Jerk Complex

1 Deadlift + 1 Hang Clean + 2 Shoulder To Overhead + 2 Front Squats

*Load and body weight must be recorded in lbs (pounds)

*Sinclair Coefficient will be used

In your video submission, you must say the Password
Clean & Strong

  • Athlete begins standing behind the barbell with the bar on the ground.
  • Athlete must perform 1 Deadlift, standing to full extension of knees and hips.
  • Athlete must lower down to the hang position (anywhere between the upper thigh to above the knee) before cleaning the bar up in one motion with a power or squat clean being permitted.
  • Push Press, Push Jerk, Squat Jerk or Split Jerk the barbell overhead.
  • Press outs and unlocking of the elbow is allowed to reach full lockout.
  • Athlete must bring the feet inline and showing full extension of knees, hips and elbows, plus control of the barbell before bringing the barbell back down to the front rack position to perform the second STOH movement. 
    Athlete must perform 1 Front Squat where they squat down to parallel and then stand up to full extension of knees and hips before beginning 2nd rep.
  • Knees cannot not touch the floor and elbows cannot touch the knees at any point during the lift. 
  • Athlete must show control of the barbell before dropping the bar back in front of the body.

  • Athlete must begin with the barbell in a back rack, standing showing full extension.
  • Athlete squat down to below parallel before standing up to full extension of both hips and knees at the top.
  • Athlete should wear fitted pants so we are able to assess squat depth easily.

20 rep max Back Squat

Heavy Lift Crew

 

  • Athlete must begin with the barbell in a back rack, standing showing full extension.
  • Athlete squats down below parallel before standing up to full extension of both hips and knees at the top of every rep, until 20 reps have been completed.
  • Athlete must perform the 20 reps in a continuous movement i.e. The barbell cannot be re-racked throughout the 20 repetitions.
  • Athlete should wear fitted pants so we can assess squat depth easily.

Max Rep Ready

  • Athlete takes the barbell from the rack and must be in a fully extended elbow position before beginning the rep.
  • Athlete lowers the bar to touch their chest with a 1 second pause and then press the barbell overhead to reach full extension of elbows at the top.
  • Athlete must maintain contact with their hips on the bench throughout the entire lift.
  • Athlete must maintain contact with any part of their feet on the floor or plates throughout the entire lift.
  • Athletes should wear fitted pants so we are able to assess hips remaining on the bench.

5 rep max Bench Press

*Wilks Coefficient will be used

Press the Limit

  • Athlete takes the barbell from the rack and must be in a fully extended elbow position before beginning the rep.
  • Athlete lowers the bar to touch their chest and then presses the barbell overhead to reach full extension of elbows at the top. No bouncing is allowed in this 5RM attempt. 
  • Athlete must maintain contact with their hips on the bench throughout the entire lift.
  • Athlete must maintain contact with any part of their feet on the floor or plates throughout the entire lift.
  • Athlete must perform the 5 reps in a continuous movement i.e. The barbell cannot be re-racked throughout the 5 repetitions.
  • Athletes should wear fitted pants so we are able to assess hips remaining on the bench.

Barbell Babe

 

  • Athlete begins standing behind the barbell with the bar on the ground.
  • Athlete can only use a conventional stance. Mixed grip is allowed.
  • Athlete must stand the barbell up to full extension of both hips and knees at the top without hitching or downward motion of the bar during your ascent.
  • Athlete must then lower the bar with control to the floor (NO DROPPING).
  • Athletes should wear fitted pants so we are able to assess the lockout requirements of the deadlift.

Sumo Deadlifts

8 Rep Max Deadlift

 

*Load and bodyweight must be recorded in lbs (pounds)

*Wilks Coefficient will be used

In your video submission, you must say the Password
Compete for a Cure

 

  • Athlete begins standing behind the barbell with the bar on the ground.
  • Athlete must use a conventional grip on the barbell (hands/arms outside legs). Mixed grip is allowed.
  • Athlete must stand the barbell up to full extension of both hips and knees at the top.
  • Athlete must then lower the bar with control to the floor (no bouncing) to make contact with the floor to start the next rep.
  • Athlete must perform the 8 reps in a continuous movement i.e. The barbell cannot come to a dead stop on the ground throughout the 8 repetitions.
  • Athletes should wear fitted pants so we are able to assess lockout requirements of the deadlift.
